ahhh shit i just noticed the rar thing but good thing is it only does that to single link files so if your have multiple parts it adds the .rar to each part

i only had like 4 that were single link

It will upload/download, yes. But there is no logging feature in the script at the moment.

Don't go anything below 1GB RAM for each package. The rar/unrar binary are memory/cpu intensive. Other than that, good specs there. I could configure the server to run the script perfectly, if you want me to.
 
Actually the rar/unrar binaries dont take too much ram (about 100MB) but the cpu shoots up to 100% (on single core) and 50% on dual core... That means you cant have many people rar/unrar on the same dedicated server at the same time!

thanks Life. will defiantly be hitting you up. took out the small package choice so everyone runs @ 1gb ram.

since i will also be using, but not so much for extracting and defiantly not reraring would you think 512 would be ok? ill probably still stick with 1gb.

I only have two problems.

- Can this script rename the files without needing to rerar ( just add my site name in the links ) by adding it in the config without needing to rename it everytime?

-Does this script save the uploaded links anywhere or do i have to keep the window open everytime i upload? :/

- yes it can do that part. use leechmod and not vanilla version. it'll download the file onto your server, rename them and upload back

- no it doesn't save the uploaded links anywhere. you can add that function manually ;) it's hardly 4 lines of code LOL
 
I have one problem: if I try to download with Hotfile Premium, it says me to check if 'files' folder is 777, but I'm sure it's 777 infact with rapidshare all works. It's not banned my ip because with RL I download without problem from hotfile. What may I do wrong?

Edit: I've tried on local server (my pc) and hotfile still not works, only to me?
