I was going to renew my domain at internetbs.net and i notice paypal is not an option as a payment method so i had a chat with them. Here is what they said.

We are very sorry about Paypal, actually we are disappointed because we did NOT decide to suspend Paypal processing, instead Paypal suspended our account without notice and without any reasonable explication and they are holding our funds as well for 6 months accordingly to what they stated.

We are negotiating with them, trying to figure out what has really happened and why they suspended our account after 8+ years of excellent processing, close to zero chargeback and very little RFI. We are actually in shock as we would have never assumed that an important corporation as Paypal would arbitrarily suspend our account with zero notice and practically no explanation.

We are now working on setting up our own merchant account, not to have to depend from third party unclear policies. However we still have hope that Paypal eventually realizes the big mistake they made and reestablish our account.

We have received thousand of complaints and expression of support from customers disappointed by Paypal irresponsible move, but once again we still have hope that Paypal realizes that we are one of their best partners not only as a merchant but as well as an ICANN Registrar offering them excellent brand protection services for free. We have in fact suspended many Paypal and Ebay phishing websites, effectively protecting Paypal and Ebay from huge reputation and capital losses and we cannot believe that it is they way they are saying thank you to us

I guess it is back to namecheap for me.

That's quite a shame, I wonder what the real reason behind it is.

Maybe they have shitloads of warez domains with them and some higher power decided
to cut them off at the knees? Conspiracy much? LoL

Welcome to the wonderful world of PayPal "The safest payment gateway available" (Not to mention 90% of all scams passing through it)

Eem..! My provider using ICANN and it's Good :) I guess ICANN has never get anything like that. They are professionals.
Should they Talk with Paypal.

your provider using ICANN, do you know who ICANN is ?? every domain registrar including internetbs, namecheap, directi, are using ICANN. and not your only provider :))

It gets stupid...My business account is blocked ... they really want us to go to their competitors?
The problem is that AlertPay is not yet sufficiently widespread ... so it is difficult to pay with this system.

@ #KiRà

PayPal at least can be contacted and things sorted out without too many issues.

Regarding AP, they will never be anything comparable to PayPal. They couldn't organize a good shit to save themselves :)
