The contents of a user's upload is none of our business.
- Only a few of our servers are in the US and none of them contain crucial files or data.
- The Oceanus Client is necessary to tap into the high security content-node network: upcoming implementations will be much lighter.

We are a Swiss start-up. We come from a usenet/p2p background; Oceanus has no advertisement; Oceanus is distributed and redundant.
Private testing was done 2012 until March 2013.
Public testing open now.
Official launch date has not been set. We need to stress-test the node-network first.
Our highest priority is security. We are experimenting with a flash build:

250kbps - We allow unlimited simultaneous downloads. Just start two at the same time and you will hit 300.
90 days - probably, yes. We will need to keep an eye on server usage. At the moment we do not delete files at all. I will let you know about this by tomorrow.

Registered users - Anyone can upload as much as they like. The 500GB limit is not hard-set. I'm not sure I understand your question though - were you planning on uploading a 501GB file using your free account?
The Affiliate Programme has not yet launched. We can safe-harbor your files for now, but we can't count your downloads yet.
