Went shopping with my girlfriend today and bought myself a new external 500GB hard-drive and wanted to share this with you all =]

Reason(s) I bought it?
-It's tiny and so portable
-Formatted it to fat32 so I can connect it with my DVD player (= instant viewing pleasure)
-Still had like 70 EUR left after I bought a new radio for my car (entered the store with 250EUR and didn't wanna leave with more than 10 EUR) -> Yes that's how I go shopping!!

Check out the beauty (I got a completely white one though)

The WD Passport series are also very good. The most important thing I like about it that it needs no external power source.

I use it for my WD HDTV device.

Here in Thailand I paid around the same price.

I read that the WD Passport drives have dodgey connectors so the drive cuts out a lot, a lot of people have complained about it over on amazon :( shame really since I could do with one myself at the moment, though I am debating on just buying a 2.5" internal drive and putting it in a case/caddy so instant external drive.

I am also going to buy another drive for my laptop since I have the room for one and could use the space :S

Nice buy Whoo (y)

JGM.

Not to bad, I've got a 1TB external, costed me around £90 a year back.
Most of my hard drives are full up, goonna need to buy another TB soon :P

Fairly kool, but Australians external hard drives are very cheap to. These days you can get a 1 tb for 100 bucks. (Good brand to)
