Well it is a long story. I started using 10GBPs Hound when they initially started it. I always wanted to have a RDP which is trusted. I have used many RDP service providers in the past 7 years and most of them were very positive. I had to leave them because either they stopped the service or they were still providing 1-2GBPS when other provider were started 10GBPs servers. When I came to know about coin RDP launching 10GBps I was very excited as it was for one of the trusted members.

Initially I was very happy for the first month. But in the second month there were minor problems, ofcourse it happens with every rdp which I totall ignored. But slowly the skype support started becoming very slow. It almost took them around 10-12 hours to respond. I even ignored that and I myself said, it is ok they might have some physical job too. But this thread is not about bad skype support.

Please see the screenshot below. I paid for the invoice on this Oct 2nd. The RDP worked only for 3 days after the payment. I Raised a ticket on 5th Oct saying slowness. It was due to bad Hard disk. I was not able upload, download at good speed. Even opening the context menu with the mouse took around 10 seconds. My ratio at a private tracker started becoming very less like 0.07,0.2. Even opening different screens of the application took too more time and it was really annoying. It was like a dial-up connection. Initially, I thought it might be due to my internet connection. I checked by downloading some heavy files and I was wrong, the Internet was very good. I have a 50MBps connection.

I asked them to defrag the disk, initially they said everything is fine and I am the only one who might be facing the problem. Offcourse they might be right. But still they should have taken some interest in me as well becasue at the end I WAS RIGHT.

When they tried to defrag the HDD, they came to know that they had some big problems with the hard disk itself and the whole server Crashed. So, I was not able to use the RDP from Oct 5th till Oct 13th.

I waited from 5th oct hoping that it would be fixed, but it was never fixed as they couldn't find the reason until the server crashed and came to know about it

Then they said they have to reinstall the OS and also have to get the HDD. So another 2 days gone. Finally installed and they sent the new login details. I completey lost all the files. I had to setup up everthing. I was hoping that it was finally soloved. Configured Zoom uploader, setup torrents etc. THEN BOOM When I tried to download from IDM, I was not able to downlaod because of some bad configuration and uploading using zooom also failed.

Again informed them about it and told that they will rectify it.

As you can see due to all this I lost trust completely and I was already frustrated with this and I used the RDP for just 2 days after paying the invoice Hence finally I asked for a refund on 14th.

Initally they said, refund can't be provided as per the TOS. When they came to know that the mistake was with them and I had used the RDP just for 2 days they agreed to proivde a refund and told that it would be issued on Monday. I told I wanted it immediately. They said refunds are issued by Rox and the person in skype was not authorised. He told me to raise a new ticket for issuing the refund. I raised it and now I am surprized that there is no refund because as per them. The server was down for just 2 days and they can't refund if the ratio is not proper.

Anyways, now I am least bothered about the refund. I didn't create this thread to get the refund. I just wanted to warn other user to take proper precaution before using Coin RDP.

I DON'T RECOMMEND COIN RDP. I am warning !! Believe me I was the one who was jumping all around when they launched last month

If you still want to use COIN RDP, make sure you have enough patience and forget about your peace of mind + No refunds due to TOS!!

Coin RDP one of the Worst RDP I have ever used

Raised Tickets about slowness

Agreed to provide refund

[10/8/2017 3:30:01 PM] Coin RDP: Ok, let me check
[10/8/2017 5:35:52 PM] jamesrocky: anything done ?
[10/9/2017 12:45:49 PM] Coin RDP: Hi a SSD cannot be defragged. And to be honest you are the only one with issue raised. I am not saying you are wrong, just that I really don't see any issue from server side. I fell you should look out for another provider. Best for you I feel.
[10/9/2017 9:39:04 PM] jamesrocky: Yes you are right. I need to look for another provider. But I paid just 7 days ago. CAn you please refund me, so that I can go
[10/9/2017 9:39:37 PM] Coin RDP: Hello, there are no refunds on our service
[10/9/2017 9:40:48 PM] Coin RDP: Btw just to let you know. One user was having issues with Firefox where he was using up 25% CPu
[10/9/2017 9:41:01 PM] Coin RDP: We just solved it today, if you want to see for a week?
[10/9/2017 9:42:03 PM] jamesrocky: no you are wrong, you failed to proivde me the service and you have to or esle you have to fix something which you should find out. Hom come it worked for 15 days I was happy and now it i not working. so thw problem is with your server
[10/9/2017 9:42:58 PM] Coin RDP: Server is working and there are other users where I do not have a single complaint but you.
[10/9/2017 9:43:14 PM] jamesrocky: well that it the thing you need to look.
[10/9/2017 9:43:17 PM] Coin RDP: So I can prove it anywhere how we are providing a working service mate.
[10/9/2017 9:43:18 PM] jamesrocky: *is
[10/9/2017 9:43:28 PM] Coin RDP: Let us not get into fighting mode
[10/9/2017 9:43:40 PM] Coin RDP: As mentioned above, we have fixed one user CPU usage issue
[10/9/2017 9:43:47 PM] Coin RDP: Can you try for a day or two?
[10/9/2017 9:45:00 PM] jamesrocky: I can try but there is no point if it won't work right. bcoz there is no refund.
[10/9/2017 9:45:24 PM] Coin RDP: We will see how best we can resolve this
[10/9/2017 9:45:45 PM] jamesrocky: btw I see a user called jennifer uses around 13% cpu always
[10/9/2017 9:45:57 PM] Coin RDP: Seeding is a problem right, nothing else?
[10/9/2017 9:46:55 PM] jamesrocky: no no it is not only about seeding, that is just bcoz of slowness in the hard disk. I can't even open task manager immediately
[10/9/2017 9:48:04 PM] jamesrocky: btw you said ssd can't be defragged, I don't think our private disks are ssd and only c dirve is ssd
[10/9/2017 9:48:19 PM] Coin RDP: Yes, if you want I can defrag your private one
[10/9/2017 9:49:16 PM] jamesrocky: yes I am talking about my private disk itself and let me see if it resolves
[10/9/2017 9:50:20 PM] jamesrocky: or else plz create a seperate admin access for me, I promise I wont even do any changes, just use it to resolve myself and I won't bother you
[10/9/2017 9:50:33 PM] Coin RDP: Ok doing defrag now
[10/10/2017 6:24:17 PM] jamesrocky: Hello,
[10/10/2017 6:24:56 PM] jamesrocky: any problem with my disk, I am getting this error when I try to access some folders inside my disk
[10/10/2017 6:25:02 PM] jamesrocky:
G:\Torrents is not accessible.

The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
[10/10/2017 9:43:31 PM] Coin RDP: Strange
[10/10/2017 9:43:37 PM] Coin RDP: I'll just reboot server once
[10/11/2017 7:19:53 AM] jamesrocky: G:\Newfolder is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you’re connected to the network or Internet, and then try again. If the location still can’t be found, it might have been moved or deleted.
[10/11/2017 7:22:15 AM] jamesrocky: My drive itself is not present . It is gone after the reboot. I told you there is something wrong with HDD. you never believed me. See now
[10/11/2017 2:37:02 PM] Coin RDP: The entire server crashed. We are working hard to fix it asap
[10/11/2017 7:18:13 PM] jamesrocky: I see the server is up. But my drive is stilll missing
[10/11/2017 7:30:10 PM] jamesrocky: very very poor service. No quick reply or support. you take your own time.
[10/11/2017 7:30:41 PM] Coin RDP: Buddy
[10/11/2017 7:30:43 PM] jamesrocky: I am not able to use the server from 3 days
[10/11/2017 7:31:02 PM] Coin RDP: Server crashed and we are working to replace all the disks and reinstall OS
[10/11/2017 7:31:14 PM] Coin RDP: Will take one more day
[10/11/2017 7:32:30 PM] jamesrocky: how can you say the server is crashed when I can access and able to see other drivers ?
[10/11/2017 7:33:10 PM] jamesrocky: *dirves
[10/11/2017 7:33:40 PM] Coin RDP: That's because few disks crashed. Ones which are not visible. Others are on the verge of crashing. We are just waiting for tech to replace them all.
[10/11/2017 7:33:55 PM] Coin RDP: Luckily OS one is bit stable so server is accessible
[10/11/2017 7:34:14 PM] Coin RDP: No magic here!
[10/11/2017 7:34:17 PM] jamesrocky: ok. you know I told that something was wrong with disks. you never believed
[10/11/2017 7:35:07 PM] Coin RDP: I defragged two times. There were no disk errors. Once it was all back to normal.

As soon as I defragged second time it all crashed
[10/11/2017 7:35:32 PM] jamesrocky: I know
[10/11/2017 7:36:30 PM] jamesrocky: Now after getting the disk. again I have to do all the settings in my dirve. (angry)
[10/11/2017 7:37:10 PM] Coin RDP: Yes we understand it's time consuming but that's how it is.
[10/12/2017 5:52:32 PM] jamesrocky: Ond day over. I think still nothing has been done
[10/12/2017 5:52:44 PM] jamesrocky: I want a complete refund now. I can't wait anymore
[10/12/2017 5:55:43 PM] jamesrocky: Your refund will be highly appreciated
[10/13/2017 5:17:25 PM] jamesrocky: ??
[10/13/2017 5:17:56 PM] Coin RDP: Hello, your new login details have been e-mailed.
[10/13/2017 5:19:01 PM] jamesrocky: serve is not up
[10/13/2017 5:19:26 PM] Coin RDP: Yes, some apps are being installed. Give it one more hour and it should all be fine
[10/13/2017 5:19:48 PM] Coin RDP: If you have any app requests, let me know here
[10/13/2017 5:20:11 PM] jamesrocky: qbitorrent
[10/13/2017 5:20:20 PM] Coin RDP: Ok
[10/13/2017 5:20:50 PM] jamesrocky: Ping me here when ready
[10/13/2017 5:20:54 PM] Coin RDP: Ok
[10/13/2017 11:49:41 PM] jamesrocky: cannot upload or download
[10/13/2017 11:50:04 PM] jamesrocky: Error connecting. No such host is known. The name is not an official hostname or alias, or it cannot be found in the database(s) being queried.

Find below possible reasons for this error:

1. You have a firewall application on your computer, and you have just installed, replaced or updated your current version of Internet Download Manager. Please check your firewall settings and ensure that IDM has permits to access the Internet.

2. A service that finds servers in the Internet called Domain Name Service (DNS) has temporary problems, or the network connection between DNS and your computer gets broken. It's possible that you need to reboot your computer.
[10/13/2017 11:56:04 PM] jamesrocky: Give me a refund man. I will be very happy. So that I can have little peace of mind. Not able to use RDp from one week almost. This RDP has become really CRAP now
[10/14/2017 12:25:46 AM] jamesrocky: Something is blocking IDM for download and ZOOM for uploading
[10/14/2017 1:16:27 AM] Coin RDP: Give me one day. If not I will send you refund
[10/14/2017 3:34:56 PM] jamesrocky: I want the refund immediately. I know you wont resolve the issue in 24 hrs.
[10/14/2017 3:37:15 PM] jamesrocky: u there ?
[10/14/2017 4:19:14 PM] Coin RDP: Ok, please write your WMZ address to sales@coinrdp.com and refund will be issued on Monday
[10/14/2017 4:19:36 PM] jamesrocky: I want it now. not on monday
[10/14/2017 4:19:51 PM] jamesrocky: as I have to purchase rdp from another provider
[10/14/2017 4:20:15 PM] Coin RDP: That is not possible, we first need to work on setting the server issues right. It is only possible on Monday
[10/14/2017 4:20:47 PM] jamesrocky: what your sever settings has to do with my refund ?
[10/14/2017 4:20:51 PM | Edited 4:20:54 PM] Coin RDP: And refunds are issued by Rox
[10/14/2017 4:21:10 PM] Coin RDP: I am not authorised, I will let him know as soon as he is online
[10/14/2017 4:21:16 PM] Coin RDP: Create a ticket
[10/14/2017 4:28:12 PM] jamesrocky: Ticket Created #174|10|2017
[10/14/2017 4:28:24 PM] Coin RDP: Ok, I will inform Rox
[10/14/2017 5:02:05 PM] Coin RDP: Btw, we just solved IDM, Zoom and other apps issue
[10/14/2017 5:02:11 PM] Coin RDP: You may want to try once
[10/14/2017 9:19:07 PM] jamesrocky: No, I can still see there is some delay with applications and even seeding is not proper now. Please refund
[10/14/2017 9:20:16 PM] jamesrocky: Yesterday when I checked the seeding was good but not able to upload. Today it is again like last week.
[10/14/2017 9:21:33 PM | Edited 9:22:06 PM] jamesrocky: See the horrible ratio. I don't want to lose my Tracker account due to this shitty RDP
[8:05:04 PM] jamesrocky: My refund REJECTED ??
[8:05:48 PM | Edited 8:05:56 PM] jamesrocky: didn't you tell my complete story. It says RDP was down for just 2 days
[8:08:04 PM] Coin RDP: So how many days was it down?
[8:08:11 PM] Coin RDP: 10 days?
[8:08:15 PM] Coin RDP: 1 month?
[8:08:44 PM] jamesrocky: I raised the complaint from the past 10 days saying the hard disk was vert slow
[8:08:54 PM] jamesrocky: you initially said everything was fine.
[8:09:04 PM] Coin RDP: Yes and we did a defrag as you suggested
[8:09:10 PM] Coin RDP: You even confirmed it worked fine later
[8:09:18 PM] Coin RDP: Then again you said it needs to be defrag
[8:09:25 PM] jamesrocky: yeah it worked for just 2 days
[8:09:26 PM] Coin RDP: We did and boom, it went crashed
[8:09:41 PM] jamesrocky: then I raised multiple tickets,
[8:09:52 PM] Coin RDP: Was RDP down that time?
[8:09:55 PM] jamesrocky: You should go and check the history
[8:10:01 PM] jamesrocky: after oct 2nd
[8:10:12 PM] jamesrocky: and see the past chat here
[8:10:36 PM] Coin RDP: All checked, RDP was down for 2 days, 3 maximum
[8:10:39 PM] jamesrocky: I was never able to use the rdp after 4th or 5th of OCt
[8:10:59 PM] jamesrocky: My seeds went down and I completely stopped using the RDP. You said RDP was fine
[8:11:01 PM] Coin RDP: Oh wow! Because your seed ratio goes down you blame RDP?
[8:11:07 PM | Edited 8:11:08 PM] Coin RDP: This is RDP, not seedbox sir
[8:11:15 PM] jamesrocky: LOL dont teach me
[8:11:22 PM] Coin RDP: Of course not
[8:11:30 PM] jamesrocky: I have used around 10 + rdps and I know
[8:11:31 PM] Coin RDP: We stick by our ToS, no refund
[8:11:52 PM] Coin RDP: RDP was down for 3 days max and we are ready to compensate for it
[8:12:04 PM] jamesrocky: I am not talking about this bloody 3 days down
[8:12:20 PM] jamesrocky: I am talking about FROM PAST 10 DAYS
[8:12:30 PM] jamesrocky: I HAVE REALLY SUFFERED
[8:12:36 PM] jamesrocky: USING YOUR SHITTY CRAP RDP

When some service starting there are usually problems. But once it is solved and they run some time, it should get better.

Sad to see things like this happening to customers. But refunds are not always instant. Providers check with billing and then refund is made. I hope it got sorted out for you.

You are causing high i/o load on normal spindle hard disks with your torrents, you should choose SSD RDP, not normal RDPs. And i think you go over the allowed limits of the hardware.

In 10 Gbps rdp Coinrdp used Seagate barracuda 7200rpm sata3 Which is too good for read write.
I have own a full Seagate barracuda disk 2tb for mine.My disk was good having no problem.
You guys were responsible for disk issue.I have checked their HDD health after buying, all were good.My private hdd drive had no problem.Am i not bearing downtimes?
Rdp down only for 2 days max due to hardware change. You better try with private disk.
There are other users in that 10gbps rdp they have no problem.
You are the only one who is facing too many problem.

Did you try to ask them to change your server ? By the way, Refund should not be claimed instantly.

I never clamined refund immediately. I waited for 10 days hoping they would resolve the issue. But it was never resolved. Hence I thought of getting a refund as there was no point in wasting my time. But even the refund never happened. What I wanted was some kind of good customer service. Even if they had given me an option to change the server, I would have happily changed. But they never even provided me the option. How can they say everything was perfect from there end when they had hdd issues ?

You wanted refund now/ means immediately so i was talking about that. Anyway, Did they give you extra days which you lost or something?

Hi James,

But slowly the skype support started becoming very slow. It almost took them around 10-12 hours to respond.
My experiences are extremly diferrent from yours. He does answer within 1hr even on weekends.

My ratio at a private tracker started becoming very less like 0.07,0.2
Sorry, i have to say this, but i get crazy if i'm hearing tracker and torrents on an RDP server. A torrent client does use many connections at the same time to download and upload many tiny pieces. This will slow down every HDD, even SSD. The server itself has shared SSD and HDDs. So with your torrent shi* you will abuse both types of disk. If you want setup a tracker go with private disk and not shared. Otherwise you will abuse all other users. You have to pay more for that what you want.

When they tried to defrag the HDD, they came to know that they had some big problems with the hard disk itself and the whole server Crashed. So, I was not able to use the RDP from Oct 5th till Oct 13th.
In my opinion defragmentating the HDD is nonsense. It crashed the HDD (maybe the DC used old disks). That isn't the faul of coinrdp. It took very long to exchange the crashed HDDs and they also exchanged the working SSD, so a complete reinstall had to be done. Fault of DC again, because it makes no sense. Be sure admin isn't satisfied with the work from DC too :-=

They way you write the support - it's very unfriendly and cold - if i would be the admin i've banned you instantly.

Picking up single usernames from the server and write it down here isn't fine. In several countries it's against local laws. Jennifer is a friend of mine and i do the coding for her. Her average cpu usage is 6.95% (maybe some spikes every ferw hrs for 1 or 2 mins), just for info, because you're telling shi* here.

But do us all a favor: Do what you said and search for another host. PLS! You help us, the users on the server and yourself. You'll see other hosts will ban you after hrs if you'll abuse the resources like you did on coinrdp 10 gbps server.

Spare us with your presence. THX
:sun:

(BTW: If i read another username from server in future in one of your threads/posts i will report this instantly!)

LOL I am already using another host happily. Thanks for your Awesome response. :P

Yes, he is active working in coinrdp server too.

I mean: I've no problems with critical reviews. But it must have some standard of normal language and facts. And a no go, REALY, is posting usernames.

If James does use your service now, it's fine, no problem with that. But he can not compare your service/prices with this service. You're using shared RAID10 SSDs. For myself i asked for private unshared SSD too and i can get if i want and i will pay for it.

So my conclusion: I think James simply expected a performance that is not possible at this price.

(My background, i've 3 dedicated servers and used additionally 8 different RDP hosts in the past. The most of them were horrible.)

Nope. He is not our user or I could be wrong if he is already using with with a different name.

Anyway, If he has paid to CoinRDP, He got 100% rights to use that as long as he is paying. As CoinRDP is following their own terms (I respect), They can also ban their users for not following the terms.

BTW, It is mentioned in our FUP of RDP that the network, ram & processor is shared. Not the storage space.

Have a great day.

You were right. I logged into see whether I had deleted all my stuff. Who knows, there are many people sypying on me already . BTW I have deleted all my stuff yesterday itself and I was informed that I can still use the RDP and have every right to use till my plan expires bcoz there is no refund. But it is of no use to me now and I have already deleted my stuff. Anybody can check my drive to see whether I still have something in it or not :P. I already told you I took backup yesterday itself and using another RDP now

This thread is becoming a war shit. Let's stop it. Coin RDP never worked out for me hence the thread. If it is working for you please continue and enjoy !!

You are causing high i/o load on normal spindle hard disks with your torrents, you should choose SSD RDP, not normal RDPs. And i think you go over the allowed limits of the hardware.

It seems he is using SSD RDP as coinrdp's 10Gbps servers have SSDs only

SSD is for OS only.

Did you try to ask them to change your server ? By the way, Refund should not be claimed instantly.

Unfortunately, we only have one 10G server at the moment. I would be the first one to offer server change if I had one. Our ToS is very clear in terms of refunds and hence it was rejected. Also, abusing the entire service just because you messed it up by causing high IO loads is not really good. I usually offer partial refunds if customer is not happy, but abusing, no way!

We allow upto 5 torrents to be downloaded / seeded at once, but in one of the screenshots he himself shared there were 6 torrents. Again, it was a partial screenshot and I feel the number of active torrents were more.

User probably needs a seedbox than RDP. I am sure wherever he goes he fill face the same issue.

You're welcome. Nice i could help the world

(But why you were loged on the server in the last 20 mins? A lier too? )

He is free to use the RDP until the service period, he has paid for it and I am ok with him using it. I guess the only mistake I did was to listen to him and defragged the disk instead of checking his usage patterns. Lesson learnt :)
