Hi,

Since past 1 month we have been getting a lot of requests to add support for filehosters
in our program NeembuuUploader.

NeembuuUploader is a java based free and open source software which allows user to upload
files to various filehosts like mediafire.

One of our users told me that the reason for increase in requests was because some
popular software turned out to be a phishing tool and he gave me a link to a wjunction thread on this topic.

When I came to wjunction and read what people discussed in that thread, I realized that
there were many people who got scammed.

Pardon me for my bluntness, but what I do not understand is,
why do people use such proprietary software, instead of using,
encouraging and contributing to free and open source software?
Probably because we didn't do much advertisement,
or maybe because we support less than 1/5th the
number of hosters other programs support.

Please help us in improving NeembuuUploader instead of getting scammed.
Suggestions, remarks, tips, criticism would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

NeembuuUploader was meant for providing users a way to upload files to popular file-hosting websites. For this reason, the means for downloading files from file-hosts never was and never will be a motive for this project. For this purpose, I would recommend you to use JDownloader or any other similar alternative.

I apologize for the recent delays in the development of new plugins ... We were busy developing for the next major version of NU (v3.0), which has now been released! All current pending bug reports and new plugin requests will be fulfilled as soon as possible.

When I use safesharing with premium account gives me this error:



surely there is a problem in the plug-in, with premium accounts there is no limit of 50 MB per file

Hello Paralytic,

When you release version 3, I can't see the fields to put account information in. When I click on Accounts. There haven't any rows.
Your saying that the plugins will reach to the client... But I dont' have them. Maybe, my RDP block somethings? Please help

Thanks for your appreciation. We started this "rapid development" drive since August 2014 and since then we've been committed to adding new plugins, fixing existing plugins while planning and adding new features and fixing bugs.

Hi vitas,

Thanks to the new plugin system that we have implemented, plugin updates and additions are ALWAYS directly delivered to all our users (v3.0 and above). However, this also means that plugins need to be "activated" first and then the plugin you activated will be downloaded to your client and then, you could use an account with it.

I will try to make a video describing this procedure, just in case it is required.
