Need Urgent Help For VPS (Site Goes Offline )

Please Help Me i have VPS but i think there is any error in misconfig. my goes Offline Many Times :facepalm:

I got Daily mail Say This:

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.

Your hostname (ct42590.fdc.net) could not be resolved to an IP
address. This means that /etc/hosts is not set up correctly, and/or
there is no dns entry for ct42590.fdc.net. Please be sure that the
contents of /etc/hosts are configured correctly, and also that
there is a correct 'A' entry for the domain in the zone file.

Some or all of these problems can be caused by /etc/resolv.conf
being setup incorrectly. Please check that file if you believe
everything else is correct.

You may be able to automatically correct this problem by using the
'Add an A entry for your hostname' option under 'Dns Functions' in
your Web Host Manager.

Please tell me what should i do

change your hostname to server.yourdomain.com


and add A record with VPS IP to server.yourdomain.com

i have many sites and one of my site is on DNS Like
ns1.mysite.com

is your mean By i create a record like

server.mysite.com - A - IP

or

ns1.mysite.com
??

Hello,

let me simplify it for you :

Cpanel WHM >> Networking Setup >> Change Hostname

now type server.yourdomain.com and press on change

---- then go to
Cpanel WHM >> DNS Functions >> Add an A Entry for your Hostname

just click add

that's it too bad my FTP is not working I would make you a pic tutorial.

but I think you can do it.

anyway you may need to change your hostname from solusVM panel too.
