My Wordpress Got Hacked..!!

Hello,

Fellas, a few days back my wordpress got hacked (helpfull.org) . I have tried to recover this by replacing the index.php but unable to recover it. I also deleted the db user and created the new one but all in vein.

I don't have the DB backup so please suggest me how to recover this.

You can't since you got no backup, learn from this and take a backup at least once a week.

Update your WordPress version to the latest one. Change all passwords, especially the one of your admin account for WordPress, cPanel, FTP, etc. And most important thing to do is to re-upload all template files!

But how can I fix this right now.. It was the latest WP version :-s

I am not sure but I think once the same thing happened with my friend and he fix it from his db. But, I am not sure as I am unable to get in contact with that friend

He edited your header.php file, and he put his defacement html code. That means, you only have to re-upload your template files. Nothing else.

Did you only install wordpress on your host? Maybe it was a vulnerable plugin, what version of WP did you have?

I assumed he had your WordPress admin account, because you said you tried re-uploading index.php, which means it could be only WordPress related problem.
