Purely because it has way less code and way less features to be vulnerable.

phpBB, vB and IPB all of them are secure, but you should take some tips to get secured more. If you aren;t able to secure yourself and get hacked by skidds then it isn't forum software's fault. It all depends of you

Because it was a 0day exploit and we are all human and cant update everything straightway if you discard a forum software for a little mistake that really had nothing to do with the bulletin board its self then thats kinda dumb
