I would not do a link exchange with this forum the template is awful and the forum is close a year old and only has 75 post with only like max of 50 hits a day.

Your forum should have a yourself and 1 to 3 friend post when you hit 125 to 150 posted then you should have started to promote it. Then you should kept posting some for 2 month after to attract more people to join.
