Left School :D

Why stay at school when I feel I'm wasting my own time and my teachers time, when I feel I'm gaining nothing why stay?

When I could leave, get a job, learn skills that could potentially help me more than school would. My high school isn't wide in subjects and you don't learn 'nessecary skills' you way need one day.
No you're wrong. As long as you stay in school you gain a lot.

Could you tell me what job would accept you without a certificated qualification? Seriously are you going to work on the streets, restaurants or cofé shops? Come on those jobs are for penniless people. You could reach better jobs (=>higher salary) if you continue your studies, graduate...

If you have a specific target in your life besides determination, that could be a enough reason to motivate you to get back to your school.

in all reality, a college diploma just only helps you get an interview. You will probably only apply 10% of what you learn in college in a job

Don't know which country you live in, but here at my country (belgium), that wouldn't be a wise move...

If I were you, I would think twice about what you did... what if you get fired on your job that you have now? Do you think that you'll find a job easily? I doubt it..

But anyway, good luck ;)

Bad move. You'll never make any decent money without a degree, let alone missing a diploma too.

Its easy breezy now because you get free food/shelter, and probably allowance money from your parents.

Good luck trying to pay for RENT, UTILITIES, INSURANCE, FOOD, GASOLINE later in life with a laborers pay wage. And unless you intend to be a hermit, don't forget the money you need to go out and hang out with your friends.

Throw in a family and some mouths of your own to feed, you're in for a miserable life.

You chose to smile now, but you'll be crying later. Go back to school.

i have seen people leaving their schools too for uploading
lol i mean they really have no life after all

Hmm..big mistake!:D
I'm a little young too and i know it's hard to have enough time for uploading when you go at school but school will be more necesarry in the future than the money which i earn now from uploading.;)

At first I thought this was a joke. If it was college I would be like okay. College costs cash etc but high school? Teachers wasting your time? LOOOOOL

As far I know when you finish primary or w.e it's called school you get to CHOOSE which high school you want. So if you think they wasted your time I want to congratulate you. You made uber bad move when you picked your "time wasting" high school. Wasted 2,3 years of your life for nothing.

High school is not definitely waste of time. I worked my ass off while I was in high school. Don't ever try to find excuse because you had plenty of time for other activities.

Even college is a must if you want to get decent and well paid job today, hell most people can't find job even with college, now, you left high school. Ringing any bells?

I'm not going to say good luck, because in 5,10,20 years, you will be hitting yourself in head.

In my country teachers are seriously wasting their time...so that can happen too there :D (not sure of course)
I can't learn anything from them.
I must learn programming alone at home:(.

I left school after junior high school. After the tenth grade. I was bored. Teachers were hopeless, I felt like I threw away my "precious" time. We learned nothing. I certainly learned nothing. I got a job, and I was well liked, and I liked my job. I still like my job. My job is very important to me, and I get more and more responsibility at work. In two years, I get a certificate of apprenticeship in the profession. I've been lucky, and I'm going to get an OK salary when I'm done with apprenticeship certificate. I have the opportunity to start my own business a couple of years due to a lot of experience, determination, motivation and strength. There are opportunities for everyone. The school is not always the right answer for you. People are different, and it's a good thing.

This is a cliche used by people who couldn't get in college.

With a diploma is harder to be unemployed - even if you dont find a job in your field. There are some good statistics about it, at least in my country.

Regarding the OP, I think it was a bad move, man.
School is a good thing, not only for getting a job, but it will also decrease the chances of looking and behaving like a dumbass lol

Anyway, best of luck, I hope you succeed!

But you are missing bigger picture here. Yes, it is waste of time sometimes, it can't be interesting every day BUT without diploma you are NOTHING.

Well unless you want to work for some small salary. It's always good to get diploma's and stuff.

Tomorrow when you try to apply for work at some bigger company or w.e they won't give a shit about experience you learned "away from school", they wanna see paper people.

And don't start with whole "oh but you can start your own business without any diploma's" well that's true but not everyone has 50-100K to invest just like that.

4 years won't kill anyone.

So does this mean that if everyone quit school will get a nice job?
Going to school is not a waste of time, the school is not there for the lessons only.

People are different, not everyone is good at school or likes school, all OK, but I think you have to finish at least high school when you leave school. If your plans fail you would be a total mess if you can't do anything, no work (there is work, but more street work, I doubt you'll like that), no school, nothing.

I hope it will go good for you, but the chances that that is going to happen is not so big, I must say.
