And 1 Suggestion:: Start Uploading.. To earn some bugs to buy VPS... Not to lie in everyone feet For the 25$ server

he asks me for a VPS so that he can start a web hosting company in return of xrummer license... ROFL

WTF Nick , I thought you wanted the VPS for personal use.

From what happened to Your previous host , its Better you do not start any hosting again in LIFE..lol..
 
So basically what i get from this is, Nick was trying to scum people and earn money. When you fucking cant afford a vps, how will you start your own datacenter.. ROFL...

Nick asked for your help Glenn, and he sent that e-mail on your mail account. If he wanted everyone to see it, he would post the thread on WJunction. It's so lame to post email that someone sent YOU in public forum. Just because you don't know how to defend yourself.

Why did you offered him a refund only? I think there are lots of people who are using the same location, you would offer refund to everyone? Just because you're too lazy to call the Datacenter and see what's the problem with the server you're using for their VPS's.

Better go and call the Datacenter, take care of your clients. And then post in this thread, because you clearly don't know what to say except: "I offered him a refund."
 
but whatever the datacenter is doing is not the problem of your customers. that's your problem to fix if you want your business to run. it's just how i see it. maybe i'm wrong.
 
for understanding the problem the client should open a ticket first , which this guy never did.

and also we do not need any JASON to tell us how to deal with our server..


If the client is not happy , he is Free to take his money back , which WE DID OFFER HIM..
 
Guys, the thread's talking about bad .de service from Knowinservers. Why do you fight with eachother? I already bought new dedicated server from leaseweb and I KNOW I won't have so many downtimes like here. For people who still think which host to choose, anyway if that's shared, VPS or dedi hosting, I'd like to inform you to go away from Knowinservers. Honestly, owners are good, they do talk with clients, but they don't fix any problems, which are not related by clients itselfs, and that's what the MOST important for me!!

Hint from me: If you want establish new website, you just can NOT afford any downtimes. Ye, not even one. But I had around 10 downtimes in last 14 days. I guess that's tell enough.

Well, i aint Lazy and i called netdirekt lot of times but they cant do much about it. When the server hardware is faulty what do you expect jason ?
If the hard disk is faulty offcourse we have to replace it, and we cannot replace it untill the user shifts his data to a different location,
and he wasnt ready for a shift, so refund was a better option isnt it?

And if you so, i take your advice, tell me what would you do in this case?
Your hardware is faulty, you want to fix it, the user dsnt agree to shift not for a refund.. what would you do.. huh ?

this has gone way off topic i think... :) look at the title and the first post in the thread. xD i replyed to that one... not to the nick situation... you should start a new thread to discuss this i think.
