They are linking to warez, and its in blog format so its not really user generated content, how are they still up?

On a side note, is there any safe and good domain registrars not on US?

I think it is sort of user generated content as there are editors (users) which cover posting releases in certain categories. As far as I know they were down couple of times recently and it was all related to copyright.

Its illegal for sure.
You have to take care of your security xD
And about such domain registrars, no idea.
I think more important is where you're hosting the site, not where you registered the domain from.

It's a gray area, people who produce the content they post are fighting it because they're pirating their work but RLSLOG is up because of the lack of copyright infringement laws.

So would u say as long as they remove stuff when requested then they are legal?
No,
Posting of copyrighted content isn't legal. But when company contacts you, and you remove the content. You are safe, no one can bring you down if you respect the law by removing the content on request.

Bullshit that Netherlands, Malaysia, etc is safe. That's just bullshit, there are many warez linking forums hosted in the USA, and they are up. Because they remove the content on request.

Most of the forums that are hosted in Netherlands, are smaller forums. And DMCA,BREIN,Companies, and other copyright agencies. Does not give a fuck about smaller sites, they just send request of removeal. And that's all, they don't give a fuck if you remove it or not, you're not big. So you're not a threat for them. That's the main reason why are all those forums up.

Even Warez-BB, the biggest warez linking forum on the whole goddamn planet, respects the copyright agencies, companies, etc. Even in real life, you gotta co-operate with everyone to stay on the top.

No it's not legal.

What Jason is trying to say is......don't open a warez site, go the legal route and you'll be happy.
Our market is saturated enough as it is. :|

Read it again snowmanrene. I never had anything against warez forums. I wouldn't be on WJunction if I did...

I just wrote that you need to co-operate with companies and agencies to stay on the top. Or else, you would end up on court. But don't worry, that person won't be you. Because barely anyone here has big warez forum / blog. If you think that biggest warez sites aren't respecting copyright agencies, and companies. Check again with owners of those websites.
