Hey guys ,
i have an iphone 4 , but i'm thinking to give it to my GF and buy a Galaxy S
have any one used it ?
do you recommend it or i should just get another iphone ?

Android is off-course getting better and better than iOS, if you want to try android, try some of HTC's phone. They are great.
I don;t know about samsung, they are new is this android business so go with HTC ;)
 
i have both of them and i did the test for you and if you are in appz/games you should get the iphone it never freezes its a lot more stable than the galaxy s.
 
From a technical standpoint, the Samsung Galaxy S series has much more power (performance wise) then the iPhone. As also mentioned, the Android OS it runs has gotten (in many areas) much better then the iPhone, especially because of its open source background.
Aside that, the iPhone 4 doesn't bring much new features to its series, mainly just a new look.
The Samsung Galaxy S however has in many areas new technoligies, and features. Unfortunately Samsung choose to pretty much copy Apples iOS interface :( Because of that Apple is currently sewing Samsung.

I myself am currently buying the Samsung Galaxy 4G, please give me some advice :)
 
I am using Galaxy S, I used to use an iPhone. iOS is easy to use, well easier than android but android is much nicer. Most apps are free, you don't have to go do shit like jailbreaking etc. There is no lag either compared to my laggy iPhone. No drop calls either. In case your phone hangs (nv happened to my galaxy s yet), you can remove your battery in galaxy s but in iPhone, you're pretty much fucked, you gotta wait for a while before things start to work properly.

Well, I ditched my iPhone for an android and you should as well ;)

For Android you just need to root it to get custom ROM's
and just remember one thing that most of the middleeastern countries block the android market so just be sure to ask that before buying one

I would choose iOS anyday over Android.. you know why? because they still dont have the best hardware phones suitable for android.. it lags like a snail in most of the phones.. on the other hand iOS is smooth as a BJ! ;)
 
Well,

If I was you I would hold fire until later this year - as the iphone 5 will be released (same as the iphone 4 but bigger screen) which will reduce the price of the iphone 4 a huge amount.

But over the two the iphone 4 is better, it's a shame that they have got a new damn model every 2 weeks.
