Hi,
im - again - searching for s.th.
This time i'm searching for a dedicated server in the EU.
a good peering to germany is a must have.
There won't be anyhting illegale on the server, so every location is fine.
But IRC-Connections have to be allowed.

what i need:
  • Disk space?: at least 2x2TB (preferable 2x2TB + 1x500GB) Enterprise-HDD
  • Bandwidth? At least 15TB @ 100Mbit (Optional @1Gbits)
  • RAM? At least 16GB
  • Unmanaged
  • IPs 4 or 5 Usable IPs
  • Control panel preference? no CP - just a plain Server with VMWare
  • Monthly budget? As Cheap as possible. I have to stay below 130 US-$
  • Payment types that you can pay in? PayPal, Credit Card, Bank-Transfer

I want to have enterprise-hardware (or at least HDDs) since i got lots of IO-actions and my last two servers hat only consumer HDDs which were done after three month of service.

Does anyone have a recommondation?

P.s: i don't want to go with hetzner or strato

1) Your budget is low. exception is servers from OVH and hetzner

2) If your application is resource hungry try to get a server with 1 SSD as main drive for processing and extra HDDs for data storage.

either use 4 HDD in RAID 10 or use SSD/SAS drives for high IOPS.

hum. i only need a good HDD.
i had two consumer-HDDs and the one that has a lots of IOs went totally off-peak.
the normal access-time is way above 300micro-seconds :/

has anyone heard about webtropia?
the have enterprise HDDs with a cheap price.

BW: 20 tb on 1000mbps port
215 Eu per month

Setup fee: 90 eu

Its an special offer which I can transfer to your panel and you will pay to the datacenter. Vmware esxi 5.1 is already installed :)
