This is in this section because IGM (iGotMusic) is currently on a soft launch only!

Why soft launch? Because I'm not ready to share it everywhere yet. However its been on soft launch for about 3 days. So I though I'd extend it by showing it to some WJ members.

This site is mainly music focused. It will have other types of discussion, but a lot will be music. It will also have music downloads and requests. This is for ANY genre of music and will also cover OSTs, Game music, anime music, and others.

Let me know what you think, a lot of the coding/editing/changes have not been implemented yet.

But instead of keeping the site closed and me working on it, I though I'd open it up, so people can get some posts done, while I work on it in the background.

If you know people who are music crazy please tell them about this site! And if your not then join anyway just to say hi :)

Note: Yes i know its similar to Whoo's igotporn domain lol but he's the reason that inspired to get this one! So I have his go to use it. igotmusic.com was roughly $7,000, so I swiped org for like 10 bucks...

Thanks for reffering to me on the iNameBleh.org , don't mind since igotmusic.org is a very good name in my opinion.

I wouldn't go public public too fast, first get your forum filled with a crapload of content and posts, maybe some members (fake ones even) and then start submitting. :)
Keep the site uber clean in the beginning and put yourself in the shoes of your visitors to see what YOU would like to see on the forum...

Also please change the title to something else than

@Whoo: No I don't do fake members lol, or any bot, ileecher shit. It's all human controlled and operated :D

Yea this is a small project, but hopefully it will get big.

The main problem is that off course its music focused. So it will be hard to gain a lot of traffic right off the bat.

But I'm doing this 100% for the fans, music lovers, and everyone in general!

And when you do something you love, you can never fail :) I'm off course making no profit off this. This is purely for the love of community and music!

I'm sure you will still get alot of hits from it. Want it? $$ negotiable.....

Looking at it your really sloppy with catorizing the music sections.

Expand it soon. else it will fail.
 
How would you do the download section then?

If your referring to the seperate forums. I am still debating. I just don't want it to get too huge. But I guess you have a point, I'm thinking in small forum scale. if it gets big it will be more organized.

Did you like the layout I did on the other thread?

Also this has had me thinking the last few days, too many "warez" based forums, why not try something else out.. Ie just Music based, or Scriptz based.
 
I registered, posted an intro, and posted a linkin park album.

I would upload a lot of music if I could but I can't,
I live in Malaysia, by rapidshare upload speed is 18 kb/s
 
Thanks man, but yea. I own/owned warez sites before, but this is the first time I'm going specific on something. I think it will work out good.

Hoping to "corner the market" if you will on the Music Scene, inside the warez scene directories (katz, etc..)

Sometimes Warez sites are too big for their own good.

But yea still working on it! Almost ready for a public launch! Maybe next week...

Same as you, just can't compete with the big sites so it's hardly not worth making new warez sites anymore, well that's what i've been thinking lately.

Be interesting to see this progress :P

I shall brb, just going to register a domain for my "New" project forum :delighted:
 
My suggestion like i had my own forum. The basic music genres.

Full albums
-rock
-pop
-r&b/rap/hiphop
-classical
-country
-electro
-reggae
-jazz
-blues
-other

and than another forum with
-ost
-vinyl
-music apps
-etc etc.....
