IDM or JDownloader

IDM supports multiple connections. JDownloader does not. Eats more CPU. If you have a premium account for your desired filehost, then IDM is your best option. If not, then JDownloader.

I love JD and have been using it for several years and they are constantly updating and improving it.

I use JD when I download full seasons hidden in safelink since it decodes it by itself .

I'd use neither.
DownThemAll! - a free ff plugin thats better than both.


But for ease of use, try both and use which ever one your prefer.
Everyone has their own preferences.

IDM brings just about anything down I've tried... Its just a bit invasive. Use the settings to disable it when you don't want it. Otherwise, it constantly tries to bring everything down.
