I paid >$40 for a VPS from someone on this site just before merging with wrzhost and decided i wanted a refund.
I opened a ticket with wrzhost & had a full refund within 24h and they seemed to know what they were doing.
your story doesnt seem legit... how do you install cpanel and apache shitly & get refunded wrong lol?
the VPS would have been an image and cpanel would have updated itself to the latest version.
post some screen shot of the 'wrong refund' it sound very interesting (or you done something wrong)

This is just my opinion, WrzHost did everything for me (Install CPanel etc) and they know did it correctly. It's strange how they "installed CPanel wrong" on your VPS and they install it correctly on my server. No offence, but I smell bullshit. If you had trouble registering custom nameservers why don't you Google "how to register custom nameservers", it's not that hard, you could've done it yourself. The host is there to provide YOU hosting, not do EVERYTHING for you (Install custom nameservers etc). Mistakes can happen from EVERYONE. Give them a fucking break. Another strange thing about you, "got my CC canceled because my bank thought someone was using it as fraud!" -- I lol'd.

We do not install cPanel incorrectly, ALL VPS’s come with a template which enables cPanel to be installed within seconds – and we use this on every single VPS which required this, and we have NEVER had any problems with it.
You can pick the OS template (Centos-5-cpanel) from within your VPS control panel among other OS choices.
So I very much doubt it was “installed Wrong”.
As for the refunds, we honour every single one even if it is a partial refund because you’re over out 7 money back guarantee.

first off wrzhost.com hosts more people than any of the companies on wj combined so the thing is out of the many many people there might be some that didn't enjoy the service therefore making a bad review.. unlike other hosts who have very little people that can all be pleased easier.

Did you have unmanaged? because if you did there's your answer.. they were nice enough to say yes if your unmanaged so they have to go in order of people who asked first (also who orders managed servers) and then attend to you.. It is very easy to blame a host for problems like this but everyone can run into problems...
I have been with wrzhost.com for a while now and it has not been anything except fast speeds, no downtime, and friendly staff! i cant say anything about their support because the servers so good i never even had to use it yet!
in the end, be happy you got your refund at least. some companies even though shouldn't will tell you to f off and you cant do anything through paypal charge back..
sucks that this wasn't the host for you but i doubt you will find anything better..

I dont know what happened with your vps, cant comment on that, but, I,ve been there over 2 yrs, had vps' at different locations, and and only had some small problems(router blew,ddos/syn flood) and their crew has done everything I asked right.And i got to admit,maybe because Im one of their oldest customers,they have done alot extra for me,fixing problems I created, even on Xmas eve.Recently they made some changes(dont know what) and my vps' have only got better,2 sites,1400 people online combined with a server load of .02 .00 .01, cant ask for better than that.Alltho I can install cPanel, they always have done it for me and its an automated process,hard to screw that up .How was it messed up? Basically,I have nothing but good things to say about them,and as long as I get the service Im getting now, I always will.

That's what I didn't understand. Why there is no proof when people accuse such things. (I don't even know how it's possible!) -- If it's true, it's a different story, but atleast he needs to provide proof.
As for him being from another company, it does seem like it but i doubt it. Most people who have a bad outing with a company, and find another one, usually think that the new company is the best so advertise for awhile for them.
So i wouldn't accuse him of being part of the company or advertising for them and lying.
But then again, who knows!
