How can I increase my usable RAM memory in Windows 7 - 32bit?

Hello Guys, please help me with RAM memory issue..
I have installed 5GB RAM (DDR3) but it is appearing: Installed Memory (RAM): 5.00GB (3.00GB usable) any solutions to increase usable memory?

32 bit windows cannot go more than 3 GB RAM. You have to install 64bit windows to use more RAM. This is the simplest answer I can give.

It will resolve it as Nitish said 32bit can only go to a max 3.0gb , where 64bit is only limited to what your motherboard can handle.

Yes, this can easily be solved by installing a 64Bit operating system.
If you are using an integrated video card, you might not be able to use your full RAM because it is used by your video card.

These are the RAM limits for Windows 7 64BIT

There a few kernel level patches that would make Windows 7 32 bit use available PAE extension in processor that would give 36bit addressing.

Such results in being able to address maximum 64 GB RAM for 32bit Windows systems, still each process would be limited to maximum 2GB of RAM as that's the maximum 32bit processes support in Windows.
