Hey, anyone have any world from apirateslife / specialist about HostBeyond? Just wanted to see if I can gain more knowledge about the situation. Hopefully its nothing more than a bit of down time...and the problem and can be fixed, just nerve racking because it could be something bigger.

Darcnetworkz is currently being hoested by them and they are great. But uptime is crucial right now as my community is growing rapidly. If service is not resumed by midnight saturday, i will be forced to move
 
Yer i am another customer of hostbeyond i do hope things get sorted been with them now about 6-7 months and been happy with them
 
I got a damn ban on katz due to this downtime :( I hate then such things happens... And for such hosting price, support should be way better!
 
See this is why when you are a host, you host your websites somewhere else lol.
Just incase of downtime you can contact your clients !
 
I don't think he even knows. I was going to move the site off HB like 2 seconds before the server went down lol My computer with the backup died so I went back to the server to make another backup and bam it was down. I was going to move it right after I took over the site but kept putting it off. This is why you do not host with a hosting company that is a one man show and is not around when there is a major problem. Gotta go somewhere there is a staff for this very reason. Do not say I'm wrong because look at this situation
 
That is very true a 1 man show is not good for a company that is well known and when there is a serious issue like this your screwed if he cant get online.

You need 24/7 support with out it you are screwed, look at what is happening here. its okay for a while when you are a new company but not once you get big.

There is nothing wrong with having 1 man.
Thats how alot of companies start off, so you shouldn'tsay things like that

personally i have not heard a bad thing about host beyond (nor a good thing)
but that still states that it is not bad lol
 
if you havent found any comparable hosts then all hosts must suck ass.

its been day and a half and he has yet to comment, and a little more than a month ago he was down for like 6 days straight. No updates both times.. except the first time when that thread about it made tons of hits.
