so here's the hidden limits:

Hotfile:
- not exceed 200GB/day
- if exceeded then your account will not be banned BUT your premium status will be reverted to free

Fileserve:
- not exceed 100GB/day
- if exceeded then your account will be disabled (source: http://www.wjunction.com/showpost.php?p=550413&postcount=16)
Reason: We don't need to give you one, but account sharing.

As a single user downloading, there's no way you will be pulling 100s of GB of data every day for your own personal use. That's simply not possible to be needing this much data.

Oron:
- gives you 5GB/day
- if exceeded (not possible)...if reach 5GB then have to wait the next day to download

share other filehostings if you know.

They do, it's clearly stated in their FAQ:
How much can I download?

Free users can download up to 5000 Mb within 3 days. Premium users can download 15000 Mb within 3 days utilizing maximum available speed. If you are a Premium user, but 15000 Mb over 3 days is to low of a limit for you, you can always create another Premium account and keep downloading.

yes it is in the FAQ but not on the premium page purchase. I do believe many people did not notice that before they buy premium.

oh correction there.

@VIP:

Actually, Ricky's comment mentioned "hundreds of GB" not 100 GB. There is a huge difference. Nonetheless, it is a worrisome comment. Once in a blue moon I do download 300-500 GB of data. I tried that on Netload a couple of times and no complains yet.

That's why FAQ exist in the first place. If someone decides to buy something, reading the FAQ is the least thing he should do. That being said, you can't call them nasty from the moment that they clearly state their policy regarding premium limits.

I have a lot of files I wanted that are hosted on Oron and I don't mind paying premium for it but I can't stand the 15GB limitation. Cheapskates!

yes, you're right. so it could be 200GB or 300GB...we will never know. I bet if you do 500GB per day then you might get disabled later. do experiment for us.:D

true but it is seems not to be too honest imo. let see Fileserve and Hotfile premium page purchase, they state it clearly:

DepositFiles has a 15gb/day download limit too. They don't claim that limit anywhere, but they don't claim unlimited either. So I guess it's kinda fair play.

the hotfile premium traffic-limit is 100gb/day. this is what many people report on several forums. never had a premium account there myself.

i can recommend netload for unlimited downloads. you can really download as much as you want whenever you want and it doesn't matter how many connections you use (16 is the maximum). they also don't care much about account-sharing it seems (if you don't exaggerate it of course).

I don't think it's daily. Those people get disabled are sharing accounts or running public service which exceed high amount traffic EVERYDAY.

haha, nice try, dude. Seriously, I don't recall the last time I downloaded more than 10 GB/day from Fileserve. I only went premium to prevent my files from being deleted due to inactivity.

I am pretty sure it's more than 100 GB/day. I think I have tried that at least a few times. However, my premium status was removed due to remote upload from Hotfile to Fileserve and maybe they are more sensitive with uploading to its competitors than you downloading for personal use (to your HDD)

I once downloaded almost 500 GBs in a day from hotfile (premium), no harm done.

I was also a moron who got oroned, not knowing that there is a limit of 15 GB/3 days I bought a premium account from them, not only that, the downloads counted when you hit the download link button nevertheleess you downloaded or not, so, if by mistake, you hit it twice, or after you hit one, your browser quits/closed, tough luck for you, your download quota will be charged twice as much :D, plus, if you got slow net connection, when the session is out, you'll be charged again when you tried to resume.

So, in my case, my worse case scenario from Oron, I only get 2-3 movies per 3 days, oh, and I was when they only had like 12 GB/3days and 2 hours of links sessions.

I think I hit around 200 GBs in one day with FS if I'm not mistaken, no harm done.
