Hello after i have enough from this i will warn the Wj Members and the Whole Web about this Providers.

Both companys have the same Owner.

http://interwap.ro/ and http://gigaservers.net/ are Scamming Companys they take the Money from so much Customers and didnt provide any Service or Support.

The Owner Lie to the Admin of Wj much Times and promised him same like Customers that are Involved but nothing happends.

I start now to report this Company on all Webmaster Forums as a little Thank you from me.

For all informations People can Read Last 10 Pages of this Thread .

& Mods and Admin i think its ok to Post this Thread becouse i will warn People about this there is absolutly nothing wrong with this Topic.

I saw this coming when he told you to close the disputes. Hope you can still get your money back. Scammers normally refund out of fear once you find out their real identity.
 
Scamming is one thing and destroying one's site is another since it takes time to built up reputation and ranking and all this goes to ruins :(

@Hussie, they're not scared to go with a web hosting company from WJ because of huge number of fake hosting providers, they're scared because there are a lot of kids that starts with providing web hosting services but then, after while, they're just disappear from the board. Please take a look at number of closed threads because of not reading rules, 60% of them are probably kids that heard for web hosting and started it.
 
They scam me too i buy VPS from gigaserver but they still not provide me VPS service after that i opened dispute against them but still no refund receive.

I agree though everyone should know as a standard practice to take backups regularly.

I feel for the clients has any actually received a refund?

Everyone can advertise here, other webmaster forums are also full of scammers, douchebags, kids, you name it.

It shouldn't give you a bad taste in mouth about the forum / community itself. Just do some research and ask for advice before buying stuff :)
 
You are right, but lately I am reading more messages like; never buying anything from WJ , all providers on WJ are the same etc...
That's why I said people are thinking twice before going with a provider from WJ.
 
@Hussie, It's the people who is ignorant of the real facts. They should carefully check the offers before making any order. Everyone wants high end VPS for too cheap prices,this should be changed.

I would say a big no to following

1) Very big host node. Like 128GB,192GB RAM host node. Guess how many VMs on that server ?
2) OpenVZ deals. Most of the providers are overselling. (At least not good for clients who need EU location and high bandwidth.)
3) The VPS deals with option to use trial Windows license, Windows desktop versions. These are illegal and a company in serious VPS business should not go in this route. [ If the user really needs a Win7, he should go with a dedi and there is special terms in MS SPLA to allow end user to use Win7 Pro on a dedi as long as he is the single person who use dedi (no VMs) ]
4) VPS deals with encoding allowed. Encoding needs very high CPU power and other VMs on the node suffers a lot. Encoders should look for a dedi or at least go for a semi dedi with decent budget.

We are now busy to setup vps servers and we will use XEN.
Just because openvz is more for the overselling. Our prices will maybe not that cheap as openvz deals but we can provide more quality vps.
 
Well, I just got an email from PayPal saying they sided in favor of the seller. So basically I'm screwed out of 100+ I spent with this guy. After about 4 days, I could not even log into my account, nor access the server. I emailed with no response and finally I came across this site and saw everybody getting screwed too. I filed a dispute, no response from Him. Finally only after escalating He responded to PayPal and today they said no go while not giving a good explanation in the email. I spoke to a PayPal rep and He explained that because it's a service they can not reliably determine if the service was delivered. Hmm... well I would not be all pissed off and demanding my money back if the service was delivered. %$#@%%^##. This is totally messed up.

So, basically then I can setup a website and advertise services, accept money via PayPal and then do not deliver, piss people off, they file a claim while all the time knowing that those folks will not get anywhere. Close shop, hide out for a little while and then popup and do the same thing again and again... until my PayPal account is closed. WTF? All it would have taken was for the guy to communicate and try to resolve the issues, I simply got no response after I called Him out on the fact that my VPS was not operating at the advertised throughput. Now I am out of my money. Ahh well, I guess I will have to file this away as lesson learned.

That's why it is recommend to research well before buying . Basically on the scale from 0 - 100 , i seen at about 20% of people are unprofessional in providing web hosting services ; more or less can say kids are running these kids of hosts . Moreover , they earn well for a month or so and then at the time of support they just ran off .

So better be sure before choosing the best host for your websites .

Agreed!

As a business owner myself, this whole experience really brought home the fact just how bad support is in general across all industries. I shall work even harder to offer quality, reliable support in addition to great products and services. Ah well, we live, learn and move on.

Kids like GigaServers should just stop and quit.
Giving everyone a bad name and causing the customers to go with corp. for services which charge them x4 more than what we sole prior companies give them.
I really wish no one got screwed with a lot of money. :/

I think you all need to realize that often times you get what you pay for. A provider offering servers for 1 or 2.00 over the price of going direct often times do not last. When you look for cheap and unmanaged service you get exactly that. Most are start-ups looking for a quick buck. You do need to realize that there are also a lot of hosts like us who although do not have a long standing reputation here, have been in hosting for many many years.

Keep this in mind when making generalizations about hosting providers on here.
 
No refund

Hey guys.

Since the other thread about gigaservers is locked or something...
Did anyone manage to get a refund through paypal?
They just closed my dispute in gigaservers' favour, anything I can do?
