You're not biased? Everyone is biased towards what they belive is better in one way or another. I really fail to see what this has to do with this topic, please, enlighten me? I said it looks like IPB because it simply does, period. And actually I'm impressed with the progress this board has made since the last time I stumbled upon it. I have it running on my local host as well to further check it out. So really, why come here to try and strike a nerve when I've said nothing negative?

But yes, I am biased towards IPB, just like you are biased to whatever board you prefer. Satisfied?

@Hyperz everybody copies IPB don't they. Everything Copies IPB isn't it? Maybe I'm copying IPB right now.

Even if Hyperz is biased - thats him. I disagree on a few things with hyperz on a few different subjects, but its called an opinion. If we all thought the same we would be the same.

Well looks the just that footer alone its a combination of ipb and vb. If you were given just pictures it would be hard to tell which is which.

Hi guys,

I'm the project manager at NovaBoard, and was just looking at my stats to see where people were coming from etc, and found this thread - glad to see people like it!

The original project developer did indeed like IPB and vB but he clearly stated at the time that it was not a copy in any way, he wrote all of the code himself.

Now trust me when I say this - you will want to watch out for NovaBoard over the next few months, because I can guarantee you we are going to get big, we've got a lot of things in the pipeline, especially since I changed everything to open source!!!

I see you are motivated, which is good . I personally wasn't implying that you copy code or anything, just that it has the feel of IPB - which I think is a good thing. Is the project under GPL? That would be nice so it doesn't go in the direction IPB once went (1.3.0 free -> 1.3.1+ paid) .

I will be looking into this as it looks like a good free option and will check to see if it is secure or not.
