i just want to know will i get free backup with vps ? will there any hidden charges ?

It depends what provider you have. Some hosting companies give you possibility to make backups within their infrastructure or even do backups for you. But with low cost providers probably you will be on your own.

You can use your own managed SFTP backups to external cloud/storage. It is all about what you're trying to backup. System files, services , and configurations or just website files and databases? If you run WP/Joomla for example, there are some plugins to backup to your own Google Drive

For VPS I do not think anyone will provide you free backup, you will need to manually keep your own backup.

I don't think that you will get free backup, If your service provider will provide it they will take extra charges for it.Some may provide free maybe.
