You think everyone else uploads from their own network at 100kbps upload speeds that takes 2hrs per file?

Hardly anyone uploads with 'effort' even if they aren't using RU.

and if you're correct, why even have the RU feature?

Nah, that wouldn't make sense. The only reason that would make sense to me is that they'd block those companies but allow them to receive Fileserve's files just so people would choose to buy premium from fileserve so that they could still RU fileserve links to WU and FSC.
 
Im on the side of fileserve doing the bans.. Why?

To force people to upload solely on fileserve and prevent those ppl who use and upload to sonic/wupload and ru the files to fileserve for mirroring purposes only.

So its like forcing ppl either use wup/fsc or fileserve. Very risky.

I wish fileserve's ru system was as good as wupload of filesonic's..man that would be awesome. Their download speeds suck for me so i cba use them.

They should just scrap the current script.
 
@RickyFS:

Recently, the spaces in a filename were replaced to underscores after the file had been uploaded by FTP.
For example, "P1 P2.rar" now becomes to "P1_P2.rar".

It's only happened on some of FTP servers.
For example, I observed that there are different policies between 209.222.7.120 and 108.61.31.60.
One modified my filenames, and the other didn't. (I cannot precisely confirm which one did that.)

Um, well, both servers will be stressed equally. One will give, while other will take 100GB, both networks will burn...

This speed is real. I recently moved 300GB in 1.5h (NL->FS) which is about the same.

it's the same if yuo have 300gb in one server

but 14 gb in 5 minute is 60-70 MB/s

i think this server not can do at this speed...i think at speed of hard disk too...

and that there isnt only one user in a server

nl is very good...with good server and speed...but fileserve have much problem of connect disconnect etc..etc..

Filehosts care more about how much you take away from their servers. Download 300GB per day from any file host and they'll ban your account in a couple of days.


EDIT:

Anther thing. If people are transfering their data from WU to FS, wont that help fileserve in the long run? If people have more files on fileserve, the chances of them selling accounts grows.

will there be any discount premium for uploader just like filesonic ,as i find it quite ex for me to pay full where i hardly use the account to download

Well a majority of files are most likely already on the server, so all they'd need to do is move them onto the accounts and not reupload them again.
 
i want to cash out but its 19.42 in earnings account,where as more than 20 as total so if i click on cash out at server reset time when it will match the exact earnings will i be able to cash out this week?

its just difference of amounts
