Due to the increasing rise of Premium cookies that are being snatched, we implore you to tighten your security by changing your password every few days or the most, every week.

If your account gets abused it is not the duty of FileServe to wipe up your shit, help you back on the horse and repay you for lost money or an account getting disabled in worst case scenario.

Please do not insert your details where it doesn't belong OR download material with a setup.exe file.
This is why i suggest Lastpass, works all all major browsers, and it can generate really good passwords like this

ALSO, how are cookies "snatched" so i can avoid it?

Ricky, why not ask the Techs to develop a system similar to MU so that whenever account password/email is changed, the original user would get an email sent to the original email address providing him a link to reverse all changes and get back his account if the said changes were unauthorized? This would seriously reduce your workload when it comes to recovering hacked accounts.

Even as careful as I am with premium accounts, my MU account was once hacked and I got it back like that.

@ DBM: Same way as if someone snatch up your username/password. Phishing for it in your cookie settings.

@ Prazsky: Because user who have their account verified already needs to have their new password verified via their old email. It's the same system

Also the rule is already implemented. However, some users think it is our responsibility to take care of their earnings, username and password on THEIR behalf (meaning we somehow need to develop antivirus & firewall software to avoid this).

And for hacked accounts they can contact our support. I've had a few incidents where a user claimed he was the propietary owner with the laxed security questions I gave them in which they could answer. Going through our support will be the one and only way to retrieve your accounts from now on. (that was a message for everyone)

@ all: Earning seems to be back on track now for the 24th.

Well that system should prevent most cases of hacked accounts. The only way to lose your account with such a system in place is to get your email account hacked as well lol. If people are so careless with even their email accounts, too bad really.

Remote, FTP & Rapidleech looks quite healthy at the moment.

@ bernard: Try again.

@ Prazsky: People get their accounts "hacked" because their computer gets infected. It's insane.

@RickyFS,
getting hacked is actually normal, I believe FS has been hacked for major times as well, systems are not perfect and people do tend to get forgetful, careless, etc. Heck, my website once got hacked almost every week.

this is why I second to the "alert mail and recovery systems" implemented.

Once, all my accounts got hacked because I was away from my pc for a week ( a camp) when I got back I found out that the AV/Security licence has expired and there goes all of my accounts. There are a lot of other scenarios also.

Maybe you can pass on the "alert mail and recovery systems" suggestions to the techs it really will make the CS job's easier, especially nowadays.

How many recovery systems do you want?
And what if the recovery system details gets hacked?
Do you also want a recovery system of the recovery system option?

FS has enough security as it is.

If you can not convince FS support that the account is yours, live with it.

@ cilembu: We have not been hacked. If we had, no user would be safe any more. We have put in measures that doesn't make us the "ordinary" solution/site.

Can you explain to me why none of my accounts have been hijacked? :) I don't download .exe files and I certainly don't visit sites that may harm my computer.

We already have the measure in place for users. If they cannot protect their email and FS username/password then there's no hope and we will be the last line of defense. Fortunately, we only give everyone 1 chance to redeem themselves.

Hello, when I upload files via FTP, when file uploaded and is reached 100% it start uploading again the same file in that case i have uploaded multiple the same files. I am uploading via FileZilla.
Is anyone having the same problem? :|
How to fix it?

Sorry for my broken language. ;)

@ audrius1992: Home FTP? Seems to be a router issue. You using Linksys?

@ delightedx3: I just tested FTP. Seems to work fine. 4 minutes to move the file from FTP => File Manager.

I uploaded like 10 files via ftp, couple hours ago.
Files 1, 2, and 8 showed up in file manager, but the rest didn't even show up in pending.
Checked for about a hour, with none of the files showing up.
Went afk for couple hours, and they all showed up in file manager, perfectly fine.

Working, but unusually slow.

We had quite a few files that had to be processed since yesterday. They should be fine now. Refer to the above example during peak hours. 100MB file in 4 minute isn't too bad when everyone is bombarding :)

I am trying to remote upload some MU links into FS, but they all end up failing with the "remote link not found" error. The MU links are not dead and they work fine.

I just want to know whats up.
