@ Ar!yaN: You connected via some 3G phone? OR via one of those USB devices that's connected to the 3G net?
Thaths not my buddy, thats my younger (kid) brother, and i have explained that where live in the same house and using the same networks adsl and some wireless and whe have only one desktop home PC (adsl) and a notebook (wirelles) and whe using all together exept when whe are at work.@ salbre: Please tell me who your buddy is, kolekole.
@ salebre: You didn't read the warning that we put on your referrals page?
I've heard the same excuse before - Last time was by a Vietnamese brother and sister using the same Internet, in 2 different rooms on 2 different laptops...Now how are we suppose to believe in that story?
I do remember a case of this, however, you never mentioned that your brother lives under the same roof and house as that would have triggered a "No, you cannot refer him for your own good". You pointed out that he lived in Germany, but you live in Serbia (is it?), so I assumed that it meant 2 different countries, 2 different people, using 2 different nets.
Other people who have been concerned regarding this matter of using the same net as their siblings or family have requested that I would remove them from the referrals list in order to safeguard/protect their account from being banned.
We give a lot of slack to a lot of people, i.e. We let you open several accounts / We let free users download simultaneously after 10 minutes wait [something that will be corrected eventually] / We count your money in order, just as if the stats are delayed / We answer to 99% of all questions / We allow for unlimited remote upload for all users / We allow for users to download unlimited files & filesizes as Free ....
I don't see how some people can depict us as such a bad host (in terms of service and treatment), when we don't live next door and can scout what you're actually doing on our service.
i have sent you a email so i think that will explain alot.@ salebre: I don't recall a brother who was working on this with you. As explained earlier if I knew your brother would be a referral of yours and you live under same roof the clear answer would always have been: Not recommended - You take the chance you want to take.
Your account will stay disabled and eventually your files will be removed.
@ SplitIce: That comes down to knocking. When we see that you're requesting 1000 links from the download page as 1 IP, it could potentially slow it down for everyone else (=> built-up of tickets // forum posts here and there of "why can I not get my ***** link from you?!? FS is slow!"), thus, your IP gets banned temporarily, thus, someone on the same VPS gets pissed off because now they cannot upload.
We will eventually find a way to integrate an API for link checking, which will not have the devastated effect on others and leave you to do your own business, but for now, you have to roll with the punches of trying to retrieve less links for checking per minute rather than smashing our gateway so others can't retrieve their links.
