ricky can fs management add a date button to order DMCA files by delete date ? or can they add a X button to delete a reported link ? because it confuse so much .

File in new filemanager should be arrange by name so I can save time with arranging file according to name in case of multi split file

^ You can always sort it by clicking the name category or use a link sorter for those stuff. In fact, if you have a multi-split file, just use the search function with your uploaded file name and you'll see that the search result still sorts it by filename for you.

I believe it was changed to newest first by default because majority of the users (including me) wanted it that way as newest uploaded files are what users are most likely to get.

I do not hope the new sorting was arranged because of that.

I would also like to have the default sorting done by file name.

When it is sorted by upload date it isnt exactly encouraging people to sort their files into folders -> less strain on the servers. (Did you think about that Ricky?)

If I upload 10 .rars my list of files is now something like:
.r01, .r08, .r02, .r04, .r10....

Not very useful without extra clicks.

Bug

When i try rename some files it removes the extensions .
Example : "test.wmv" it renames to "test."

First this happen rarely but now it happens most times when i rename a file .

@ f1b0n4cc1: Coming

@ Enciph3r: Try again in 24 hours.

@ Snow: No. It will be by date.

@ Gerner2010: We tried the name. You guys (well...you didn't really) complained about a slow manager. We tried new method and "bing"..sorted. Quick manager.

@ im9ure: Erm... I haven't tried it. You can always keep the extension you know, when you rename.

@ earnfs: 2.5 hours into new day and you're giving me this? ;)

you think everyone is uploading single link like you do???
what if people upload a few dozen parts via FTP?
we don't want to make 2 extra click on "name" tab
we hope fileserve can make it sorted by name by default like the old file manager did.

that's it.

Ricky has said this again and again, if you want a faster file manager the files have to be sorted by date, its either this or the older slower FM.

If you want to sort the links, just go to mirrormaker.org and sort the links. Wont take more than 3 clicks.

whats up with Fileserve not counting downloads for certain files I have close to 2 dozen files I uploaded that have 0 downloads when I know for a fact there have been a bunch of downloads.
