""We let free users download simultaneously after 10 minutes wait [something that will be corrected eventually]"

Just sounds like a marketing stunt to me, so the uploaders get more downloads at start = they'll stick with you longer.

Will be corrected eventually? You could've not allowed this from start.. earnings dropped by 40% >_>

24hrs with 0 downloads? why?
no statistics in 01/12/2010 pls check this

How about you try to read your account page with the dashboard update man, don't come here and just start bitching and ordering someone to check something out.

The answer you are looking for is in the FS website.

@Cisco_Kid: totally agree!
one should ask only after doing research and found no answer. The very first thing to do is to read the dashboard news in FS account, then post a question here.

Of course it's marketing strategy. Fileserve isn't running a charity here. Do you think it will be economically viable for FS in the long run to let free users download files simultaneously? They have to sell premium in order to pay the uploaders and keep their high quality of service up.

Well ofcourse, but I would've preferred if they didn't allow that from start, now every uploader will be dissapointed in their earnings, just like with HF when they implemented the rank system

@ rototo: Submitted

@ illetyus2: No.

@ Russhim: Depends if you're sending from MU which seems to have done something that lets people send and cancel.

@ black69: You not kidding? You got hacked again??

@ JJJ: Of course. It's a Premium feature.

We just didn't care until people start abusing the bug.
Gerner is by the way 99% spot on with all answers. If he was in the same country I'd invite him for an interview given he wanted to do customer service :)

@ yuuuk: It states the ETA of the bugfix.

@ subaru_20: Working on that. Another program is coming in the mean time. We're looking to make that work with RDPs.

@ Cyberpunk: Send the PM pls.

@ The Coon: Like I answered "JJJ", it was a bug we really didn't praise as an issue until we saw the extreme abuse by users... I saw same "uproar" when we added ReCaptcha, because that stopped free users dead on their tracks of leaving the PC and downloading. People have a tendency to become greedy.

@ DarkAcidBlue: Speed for loading files etc.

@ kosovo & King: You guys read the news?

It might be past the estimated time for fix...It's coming soon I can tell you.

With all these security measures eventually you will be using SMS like Google or some online banks do.

But all for the good of things. I'm game!
