Because "someone" uploaded "cp", they had to shut down the ppd and reduced the max download size of a file for a free user to 500 MB, or else there could have been a lawsuits.

Here is some information for you,
Filefactory sucks, it always has sucked and it will continue to be a fucked up small shitty file host.

My total earning balance a couple of days before was frozen at 92.00 $ with no sells since 12th Sept.Today i discover my earning balance was reduced to 84.45 $ and they didn't count the last 3 sells i made .WTF is that Token generation of -12.00$ on 12 Oct.? After all FF has no intention to pay, so it's not so important :(

Token generation is when you ask FileFactory to generate a coupon that can be used to extend your existing premium account or create a new premium account. The $12 looks like the token cost of a 30-day coupon.

Did you generate a token to extend your account? Take a look at your account expiration date and see if it's been extended.
 
i had the same situation, but i thought one of the guys i shared my account with on RL server did it. opened a ticket and asked to deactivate account extended with that voucher and they refunded 12 back to my account. possibly they do it intentionally also just to waste time with them...

Until Megaupload has been running for a few months with no touble, I will not upload to it. Wasting time if it gets hei. hit. Kim has enemies.
 
is someone else getting some abnormal number of downloads...or maybe this is some kind of bug:-?

all rewards are disabled now, there is no option to enroll in rewards because there are no rewards, what does it matter if you get 1 or 10,000 downloads?
 
New update in their support website:

FileFactory is not closing down

The management of FileFactory.com have absolutely no plans to close down or limit the service. In fact we continue to grow, investing in more hardware and bandwidth. We have been online for over 7 years and we have no plans of going anywhere.

We have made great improvements to the quality of service over the past few weeks. As our server migration is now complete, the service is running much more smoothly.

IMO they should also let us know about when they'll resume making payouts as well.
