Guys ,

Do you like a server or a VPS with fully DDOS protection or do you think its not worth to have a ddos protection to your server ?

It depends on the type of the attack and amount. Even for a small website, if someone is very pissed off on you and uses a botnet you can pay from hundred of dollars to thousands / month.

As a piece of advice, just do not believe that a $10 ddos service will protect you.

it's worth it only if you have regular attacks, else it's waste of money and time, most datacenters block it themselves nowadays

A good software firewall could block most common attacks providing they are not large-scale. It also depends on many other factors like Resources, configuration etc and let alone the network connection you have..

Obviously the most desired setup to block DDOS attacks would be a hardware based firewall , but these can be costly to some users.

Now i see the whole point of this thread is to see other peoples views on a new service your going to offer but I'd say you've come to the wrong place for asking this question or even trying to offer it at wjunction for that. Your best bet would to jump on over @ www.webhostingtalk.com :)

Edit: Probably the wrong forum on Wj to be asking the question too ;)

Well, only few websites here has DDOS Protection here. But 1 thing before choose anyone ask for how much speed they can handle ? OK :)

If you have a presence on the internet, then you’re vulnerable to Distributed Denial of Service attacks (DDoS). These are targeted attacks on a single system by multiple compromised infected systems causing a denial of service. Downtime, lost revenue, and brand tarnishment are a few examples of the negative impacts DDoS attacks can pose.

You can buy VPS in ovh.com they have a advanced DDOS protection (you can configure a much options in admin panel) . Additionaly you can redirect yours domains to cloudflare.com
