LD you're not going to hear me say that (partial) encryption is a bad thing. My main point wasn't even about whether or not you make profit on the script.
All I was trying to say basically is that when your scripts target group is the warez community you should accept whatever side effects that brings with it. I'm sure you know that the warez scene is more about exploiting, cracking, hacking, ddos'ing etc than it is about peace 'n love. Sadly enough. Point being that when some "noob" posts something that you don't agree with or don't approve you should be able to accept it. If you sell guns you have to accept the fact that that gun might kill. Poor example but I'm sure you get my point.
I can understand your point of view, and I realize why you get pissed off when someone posts a thread like this. Might sound a bit harsh but that doesn't change the fact that this is the path you choose. If I had a few 1000's of $ to invest in the development of a program or a script the first choice I would make is to not link it to warez in any way. Helping the scene is good. But if you can't do it in a truly free (meaning no profit and no expenses) way don't bother because this right here is what you'll end up with.
Anyway I'm not planning on writing books so I'll stop replying here. Just wanted to express my point of view
