I'm getting hammered after work today as I have tomorrow off. Been working about 4 months, 7 days a week. Tonight/tomorrow are going to be awesome.

This is going to be hard to resist smoking.

gratz man.. its a tough road to give up smoking. You def got more willpower tehn i do in that aspect,i have tried a couple times and failed

I need to stop too, i just bought malboro but maybe this will be the last. Im new smoker 1 year and half maybe, but i cannot stop i dont understand why. My uncle is smoking everytime i see him i would like to smoke too. Also when i am with friends they fucking smoke, outside when i see poeple smoking ahh thats the worst thing. Everyone smokes here, i would just say fuck and fuck. And im really young btw 17 years old.

I had about the same, I started around your age. Now I smoke 1+ pack a day (5 years later). Better quit while you can, the longer you wait he harder it'll get

I fucked up Saturday. I had 7 between Saturday and Sunday. Back to zero again. All last week I had none though other then Saturday and Sunday.

I never understood why people smoke.

- It's bad for your health
- You're causing health problems for other people by producing secondhand smoke
- Your teeth discolor and causes bad breath.
- It's costing you heaps of money.

That's why I'm quitting. A long long long time ago when I started, it was considered to be cool. You didn't have to go outside to smoke in the freezing cold. Times have changed.

Well I fucked up. Stress of work got to me. Having to spend well over $10,000 on new equipment, train new staff, personal shit...I bought a pack :/ gonna try to dispose of them.

It's all in mind. Just say you don't want to do it anymore. Always find a way to convince yourself not to do it.

For example I have always been stubborn, so when I try to achieve something what I do? It's simple I talk with myself. For example let's say smoking is the problem. That part of myself tells me how it wants from me to continue smoking, poison my body, spend more money, and then usually other side turns on which says, I'm in control and no way I'm going to let some lame smoking dipshit win.

It may sound funny or dumb but trust me. I'm very disciplined guy. Since im into bodybuilding and fitness I have to train every day and eat specified food everyday. It's not easy and as time goes you learn to control your life and your actions. You see what's good for you and what isn't.

I understand that it's hard as it's a drug, but even tho it's a drug you can always achieve what you want only if you REALLY want it.

I would even go for extreme measures if that's what it takes, buy food for 15,20 days and try to go out as least as possible, don't come anywhere near shops, go straight home watch movies, do anything what will keep you busy and not let you think about it. Lock yourself in a room, anything. Like I said, if you really want to achieve your goal, you will only if you put in 100% effort.

Smith out.

I have a hard time understanding this type of logic that billions other share with you..

"Oh im having a stressful time so I'm gonna go inhale a bunch of smoke thats not going to help get me through this in any way"

I tried nicotine tablet/pill's. They didn't work, made me stress out more, I used to smoke 15-20 a day and i've cut down to 3 a day, been like 2 months since I decided to try stop. Don't just stop all together, try cutting down every week or so.

Why you people belive in pills or w.e? Those pills are most probably gonna make you tired > sleepy. There aren't magic drinks or w.e which will make you stop drinking or smoking just like that...
