< 5k views per month on your account: files expire after 90 days of inactivity
5k-50k views per month on your account: files expire after 180 days of inactivity
50k+ views per month on your account: files do not expire

views on cloned videos reset the timer (shared expiry timer for cloned videos)

This platform is really strange. I just registered a new account, and in less than 4 hours my video was deleted. When I went back to the site to log in, it said my username or password was incorrect. I hadn't even embedded the video on my website yet when this happened. My username is SaraSimpson9158.

it probably means you are forgetting an ad blocker in DNS or browser

Hi! The difference came from how the video list counted. It was adding every time your video’s player page was opened to the views, even when nobody actually watched it: bots, ad-blocker or VPN visitors, repeat reloads, people who closed the page before pressing play. Only real, valid views are counted for earnings, and that’s the number on your dashboard.

So your video had 7 counted views and about 73 page opens, which the list showed together as 80. That was a display mistake. I’ve fixed it, so the list now shows the same counted views as your dashboard. Your earnings were never affected. If you hover over the number you can still see how many page opens there were.

I just tried opening it again after a while, and everything started working. However, I tried uploading via the API, and it takes a really long time, much longer than on other services. Do you only return the link once the video has been processed, rather than immediately after the upload?
