Bots trying to Register

I'm quite in doubts regarding my online users.

There are various users which remain online but what they only trying to do is Registration.

For better understanding, i had added a pic.

So have a look at the Issue.
And kindly help me resolve it.

I have already installed Random Question Plugin. Due to which these can't register.

But is there any way by which i can remove them from online users count?

Ban there IP's.

Will banning their IP's will stop them from being even visiting the forum??

even as a guest, i don't want them.

Most of those bots use HTTP/1.0 and you can block POST from such clients. You can also block HTTP/1.1 POST requests that don't look "legit" although that would ban multiposters as well.

They can't even post now as i have put random questions. So simply they can't register.

I only want them to be removed from my guest list. Because they only come up with Registering in the Who's Online list. This might have bad effect on my forum.
