Blogs Vs. Forums

There just something about forums that I love.
I just can't seem to get my self to create a blog type site.

Which of the two do you like better?
(please state your age group along with your answer)

It seems like the younger generation prefers blogs and the older gen likes to stick with forums. I could be wrong, but hey, that's why I'm creating this poll.

Blog for updated sites and wherein you prefer privacy unlike in forums, it becomes a discussion.
Forums when discussions are to be made..
Both if you need both..
basically, its your motive and site's genre that decides whether you need blog or a forum

There just something about blogs I can't seem to get myself to use. I tired it in when WP first came about, but I wasn't feeling it. I also tried Dupral.. . but it was only a little better lol

Not if it is a dead forum. To maintain a good forum with many members is way harder than a blog and requires time to grow.
I also think that blogs have better quality (warez) because not everyone can post with his multiposter.

In terms of getting traffic from Google, I must choose blogs because google love blogs, but If i want to run a community, then forums are much better from blogs...
