Best forum software?

I am planning to setup some forum and there are so many options available like vbulleting, xenforo etc.
Need something which takes less server resources and have good support.
Which can be customized with ad serving platforms .
Please suggest something

This is actually a tough question. However, to answer this you need to ask yourself, "What features do you need?" Do you need something with features like IPB, or do you need something with features like XenForo? Research the different software and see what you may be able to do with them.

By XenForo is the best in term of customization, followed by VBulletin.

phpBB is nice for a free forum software, but I prefer paid. Xenforo is my choice these days. So easy to modify with add-ons. I used to be a vBulletin customer in the past, but today I would recommend XenForo. It is such a fluid experience.

Mybb rules just do ask for help in their support forum if you run a warez or adult forum you will get banned

If you can buy the script it goes from xenforo, if you don't have money to buy it goes from phpbb
