hello i wanna manage my vps without control panel to save some ram used by kloxo

i dont need email

i know how to install apache php mysql etc but woud be nice to use lighttpd (aslso thinking use mariadb) and also install some firewall to secure my server etc .. but i cant find any guide to fullfill my requeriments

@bachbell google is ur friend for installing lighttpd. But if you don't know how to properly secure your vps, then there is increased chances of getting your sites hacked by someone

@bachbell if only your VPS did not run on CentOS

Debian/Ubuntu server is the way to go. I haven't been using any control panel for over 2 years now. During the beginning there are a few things you have to discover but in the end it's worth it.

Right now configuring a webserver with/without load balancer (even different nodes) is like eating a peanut lol

well i make to reduce ram server to 179m (before 430m) without uninstalling but theres a litle trouble i cant login to my torrentflux script i enter the details and nothing happens what can be?

Go for httpd,mysql,phpmyadmin,csf.

That's enuff.

to be honestly, kloxo already use low ram , we have client installed kloxo with 512mb ram.

Only used 50MB ram max ( with no website running )
