Here is my first review:
I mainly download from hotfile, uploads to hotfile and fileserve, I do unrars a lot, and split the files.
Download speed is very good, on some occasion they will slow down, however, in average, I would say that the speed is great. I cant believe this is a 100 Mbps port. I am upgrading to the 1 Gbps atm, I cant wait to looking for it.
Proof of download (for the record I downloaded 2 batch simultaneously)
Upload speed is also awesome, while not most of the time, but by the time I'm writing this, I got more or less same speed of download when uploading to hotfile and fileserve, for the record, fileserve uploads faster from this server compared to hotfile.
Too good to be true? Not really, but sometimes, the downloads and uploads would freeze at some points, this will happen on several occasions, I think its where the server resources is heavily used.
Loading time from one file download to other file download is also good. People sometimes ignore this, but the faster the loading time, the faster the downloads will get started, so this is also important for me.
Unraring takes a blast (compared to one of my high spec server), even when the server is heavily in use, it can still unrar at a decent speed. However, I got a USER BREAK error almost everytime I unrar, whether only for 1 file or queuing for many files, but when repeated its gone. Oh, and the files are below 2 GB.
Now, here is the problem:
splitting files or creating rar volumes takes forever....up until it stops loading, it may be because of the heavy usage, but, at the same time, I can unrar at decent speed. It may also because of misconfiguration of the server, I think the provider needs to look into this problem. if not too slow, then another USER BREAK error would occur during this process.
Suppport is good for an experience user, since I have to install everything by myself, then have some things configured by the provider, then I can run the service. Setting up time is pretty fast (still the same day), all my pms are replied almost instantly. For beginners though, they might need a little more help.
I just experienced 1 time of server went down, but its up in a few hours, unlike some others that wont be up for several days.
On one note, they charge me more for the 1 Gbps port, while I saw a post stating it would be upgraded for free ( I am a 2$ reviewer btw).
OK, there goes my unbiased review, I will not give any recommendation just yet, since I'm only been days with the provider.
Will make another review for the 1 Gbps port and then I would conclude in a recommendation.
