Hi,
We shouldn't impact your traffic at all, really.

The bad thing about CF is - if your most of the clients from outside of USA = most of them can find ur site offline.
Not true at all. The number one...
Hi,
Not true at all. We have a number of larger traffic sites using us now (Metallica.com, for example).

Highly unusual for us to slow down a site because we have over twenty datacenters. Did you contact...
Hi,
You actually don't want to have CloudFlare proxying NS records in your zone file (such as ns1.yourdomain.com). You would want to make sure those records are going direct (gray cloud on record).

Yes...
Just a little clarification on how our blocking features in Threat Control work:
1. Blocking by IP or IP range is a full block.
2. Blocking by country is not a full block. It will only challenge visitors from those countries with a challenge page.
Hi,
"If a web page takes 15seconds to respond(showing a blank white page loading) , I feel like that is a problem"
Yes, that would be a problem. But this isn't something that mod_cloudflare would cause & is most likely something else. You can contact us and we can take a look.
Hi,
mod_cloudflare really shouldn't impact TTFB (focus is to restore original visitor IP and shouldn't have any performance impact).
Using CloudFlare, however, may throw off TTFB and there's a good explanation here. Our blog also covers issues with Time to First Byte.
Hi,
You can use a caching plugin with CloudFlare (we do things a little differently & they do things a little differently). If you're using a caching plugin and CloudFlare, however, don't turn minify options on with both services (will cause a conflict). You also don't want to use more than...
Some quick CloudFlare notes
Paid CloudFlare plans can now customize CloudFlare error pages.
Customers can now purge single files on CloudFlare.
New datacenters have gone up in Sydney and Atlanta (more on the way).
Hi
"My main plugins:
Cloudflare
contact form 7
akismet"
Just a quick note that the CloudFlare plugin alone doesn't activate the CloudFlare service (still need to signup for CloudFlare for our services to work). If you're already using W3TC on your site, CloudFlare is integrated in W3TC (for...
Hi,
There's a pretty good explanation of things relative to response times and time to first byte.
We also cover the first byte measurement fairly extensively in a blog post about it.
Hi,
All of our outbound welcome emails have this information available in them, including tips for users to minimize issues with the service (there are really only about 3-5 real gotchas, easily fixed, that might catch someone unaware if they just signup).
Hi,
We don't impact dynamic updates. We can only impact cached static content, so that's really the only concern (addressed by going to Dev Mode or Purging your cache).
Important:
Offline messages
Restoring original visitor IP
Also:
"cloudfare messages"
Paid CloudFlare customers (Pro plan or...
HI,
I'm not (I obviously wouldn't make any money doing so..I don't make any commissions). The issue here is that your site was causing performance issues for other users because of the bandwidth being used in one particular region. We also advised that we could look at reactivating when we...
Hi,
It actually looks like you already have the subdomain in your zone file. Is it also configured at your host? That particular record is going direct right now.
Hi,
That subdomain probably needs to go direct.
Also: You had subdomains marked as proxied that shouldn't be (Ns, mail, etc.). I've removed the CloudFlare proxy on these records so you don't have issues with those services.
