Caching support has now been added. Enable it in advanced features for your IP. Everything is cached by default when it is enabled.

Pages that have a "Set-Cookie" header will not be cached, Pages that send "Cache-Control-Private" will not be cached "Cache-Control: maxage=" will be respected.
 
Russian proxies are down. Some big troubles - warez-bb, nexusddl, Your service..... When can we get some information and when You be able to run the service again??

Our 2nd node should be going live in a few days. Just sorting out the finer details with support at the moment.

From germany:

64 bytes from Node2 icmp_seq=1 ttl=55 time=33.3 ms
64 bytes from Node2 icmp_seq=2 ttl=55 time=33.3 ms

64 bytes from RussiaNode1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=55 time=50.2 ms
64 bytes from RussiaNode1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=55 time=49.9 ms

Pricing for this node will be expensive per IP (around $12 a month) but with very cheap bandwidth on a gigabit port (around $1 per 100gb, so basicly free for most clients). Should be great for high bandwidth clients.
 
Ok our 3rd node, this time a sweedish node will be going live in less than 24hours.

Features:
- Lower ping to most of europe than russia
- Low cost per IP
- IPv6 (optional) support!
- Cheap IPv6 address rent!


Also 3 months after our data loss our new design has gone live! Still working the kinks out but it should be more refreshing than the black on white unstyled page we had previously.


To celebrate the release of IPv6 support in the next couple of days we will be launching a giveaway in the IPv6 department. So keep an eye out if you want to try IPv6 out.

And now down, something wrong with the host might take a little time (couple hours) to resolve due to it being easter although I hope its resolved soon.
 
can i ask a few newbie question

i own i warez linking forum (not much of a warez it is a medica e-books linking forum)

i am getting an ecatel dedicated server

we already know that they don't give a shit about DMCA

but i guess russia is more independent than netherlands and i already spoken to hostkey sales and support and they said that the only situation to close a website on a DMCA is that if the copyright holder hired an international attorney and shipped him to Russia and that attorney somehow convinced the police to suspend the site

you say in your website

do you enforce DMCA on your services or do you ignore it ?

what does handling mean ? what time are you talking about ?

does it work with vbulletin forums ?

We enforce any DMCAs we reveive from our datacenters be resolved in a timely manner. For details on DMCAs from the datacanter you will have to contact the respective datacenter which it looks like you have.

time is a reasonable time depending on the request and any counter-claims it may be longer than 48hours.

And yes it works with any script.

name.com is fine, any registrar can be used. The example setup is for namecheap howeaver the settings will be similar at all registrars.

i dont understand

now the russian node is related to hostkey DC

Hostkey is a russian organization that will only comply to dmca if a legal action was done in russia and approved on it "impossible" regarding warez linking as the copyright law there inhibits only russian copyright

how come you enforce it while the DC wouldn't

my opinion: it is useless to do a proxy if finally we are gonna comply to a stupid law made by the americans ?
