service is down, since i m with your service i have a lot of down times, if it will continue like this i dont think i am going to renew this service.
 
NL node is down again, its not due to anything we are doing XSLTel has been down twice now in 3 days.There is really nothing I can do at the moment, except recomend you dont use our service at the moment, or use a russian IP if there is any available (I cant get any more atm as tippie is AFK and there is no guaruntee he even has any spare at the moment)

Usually our uptime is 100% each day (or 99.8% according to basicstate). I urge you to be patient, if XSLTel our Ecatel provider doesnt get their act togeather we will move, we are currently looking into a second ecatel node anyway and the fallback system.

We arent moving anything, all downtimes to date have been provider downtimes.

Yep if you are on the Ecatel node, see above. We and we are considering moving as we are not very impressed with XSLTel recently.




Rest assured I am doing everything I can to resolve these issues, I myself use this service for my sites so all downtimes affect me too. We will resolve this and uptime will be better, and if XSLTel has any more downtime we will be forced to replace them, simple as that. If we can fill 10 more slots, that node will be full anyway and we will setup a new Ecatel Node at a new provider anyway.

While XSLTel is down I am currently discussing a partnership with someone that if agreed upon will take this project to the next level and may also do away with XSLTel because of all this downtime.

On the topic of what to do while the Ecatel Node is offline, what I recomend.

Direct all traffic to your Main IP for the next 24 hours
Check back here soon, we will have more russian IPs and when ever NL comes back online they will be back ofc.

If I had any I would. We are currently 100% sold out of russian IPs. Ive requested more but am waiting on delivery. Most likely we will be dumping the NL service altogeather, its had horrible uptime and its become so hard to find good hosts in the NL region.
 
5 Russian IP available, get them quick.

For those who dont know the reason behind this downtime (NL customers)
The XSLTel issue.
XSLTel hosted our Ecatel Node, they have been down for 18 hours now with pretty much no response or infomation. We have to persume that he has done a runner or something. As such more russian IPs have been purchased for a transition, howeaver due to the loss in money from this issue funds are limited at this stage.

I appologise for any downtime, unfortunately there was nothing I coulud do to get your sites up sooner except wait for new extra russian IPs to arrive and wait for news from XSLTel which still hasnt arrived.

All Ecatel Customers will be given a $2 per IP refund on their services (best guess average approximation of expenditure) for all these problems. I hope to see you on the Russian services, they have always been more reliable and consistent.

Refunds will be processed in the in a couple days. Please note all Ecatel customers, that service is permanently retired.

Thread was updated yesterday. Ecatel service is no more (permanently closed) due to the provider formatting our VPS, we didnt loose any data but refuse to run a node at a company that is that unprofessional. The russian service is fine and has spare IPs for people to transition to.
 
Will be up really shortly as soon as a tech reads my ticket, seems we exceeded our badwidth limit for the month (WOW! I think there is a discrepency somewhere between systems because I doubt ive billed 700gb of bandwdith out). Anyway ive placed an order for an extra 300GB and imediate unsuspension, just waiting on the response.


Sorry for the delay, this shit always happens while I sleep for some reason.
