ImageShack Hacked by Anti-sec Movement

ImageShack, one of the webs largest image hosts, was attacked by a movement called Anti-Sec. The result of the attack has been to replace all ImageShack hosted images with a manifesto for the movement (below).

The message adds that no images were harmed in the making of thisimage, implying that ImageShack images are not lost.

YFrog, the lightweight image hosting service from ImageShack, also appears affected.

To be honest, I hope they succeed with their movement, if their movement is exactly as they described, then (y), they have my support.

I just hope that no "innocent" viewers/users get harmed by it, skiddies, exploiters.. can all go to hell.

You have to admit, they made a nice entrance, displaying that image.. virtually everywhere, talk about becoming famous in 15 mins. :P
 
Not the front page, hosted images were replaced with it, so it showed everywhere that has an imageshack image link in it.

But as they said, no images were harmed lol.
 
Off with milw0rm and security focus in with 0 disclosure!

@Specialist, i wouldnt doubt it even your average joe could start something like this


i hope more people get involved in the movement and continue this would be great.

When anti-sec group rooted astalavista servers this was the message they left.

Why has Astalavista been targeted?
Other than the fact that they are not doing any of this for the community but for the money, they spread exploits for kids, claim to be a security community (with no real sense of security on their own servers), and they charge you $6.66 per months to access a dead forum with a directory filled with public releases and outdated / broken services.

So going by their choice of targets which are based on sites hosting exploits i guess milw0rm is next on the list of anti-sec. What do you say?
 
Their movement is a good idea if they stick to the plan....the internet is free, it will never be controlled by greedy people...I support their movement :)
