Remote is fast, but there are always certain times of the day (or night, depending on where you are), where it might be slower, depending on the number of people using the remote upload function.

That's my opinion, at least.

Because I honestly have to say that I have not yet found a filehost with better support or problem solving speed that FileServe.

For how many other filehosts can you say that someone from staff is always around online to answer our questions...?

About the Katz thingy.
Does it mean we don't have to put Rs links along Fs ones?
Because i submitted two topics like a week ago with only Fs links and they warned me and said that RS links are a must in the topics and that Fs was not recognized :(
 
@ Yad, FS is now regonised so if you are submitting for a site which has 1-3*, you can just submit FS links but if you want to submit for a site which 4-5* then you need RS links too.
 
Hey guys..

Good to hear no problems at all.

To keep in demand with the growth we have now put in an order for another 70 servers leading us to a mindblowing 200+ servers for FS. These will arrive sometime next week.

Furthermore, with these crucial last 3-4 weeks of pain with server issues, slow speeds and what not, we can now focus on implementing the long list of functions that we have setup. Hopefully no issues will arise from this. First improvement to come out will be the account security. When this has been implemented we will look more blindly towards account hijackings as you shouldn't be sticking your passwords into 3rd party websites --- That being said, and I know a lot of you will do it, you should never use the same password for your email as the one you use with FS!

I hope you guys will spread the word of our service and keep the popularity up :)


@ CyberMind: That's awesome to hear. MOST new files shouldn't be 404 or break connection. When there's a break connection it can be because the HDD is faulty and cannot live up to the expectations of it.

@ NickG: Noted. Will have it looked into. Notice that this is a low priority, so if this persist with some files in the near future (30+ days) please remind me of it.
 
70 More servers? Thats great news.

I was actually thinking if we could request for Rapidshare Links checker script (which checks multiply hosts) for greasemonkey to add Fileserve links as well.
Would be quite handy.

The issue just started today and it looks like the download counts are starting to update slowly. I know it doesn't matter but I always like to help you guys by bringing any bugs I notice to your attention.
