VPS is sufficient Santo
You just need optimize it and everything will run smooth in a VPS, a dedi server isn't needed.

A Virtual Private Server can easily handle a 4* site.
Depends on the specifications though.

i've run a 5* on a vps before and that even had a 3* and a couple of 1*s to and it worked fine

I spoke with the support guy and yes, he told me a Dedi is not really needed!

Also I had to upgrade and get more RAM, we are testing just to be sure what exactly my forums need.

But right now its working fine, lets see what happens!
