This is a small notification that the email notification system for failed files in encoding/transfer is now live. From now on, whenever we delete something, you will receive a notification. A few additional updates are also coming soon, as follows:


  • Removal of the ability to restore files deleted by the system (failed or broken files, etc.).
  • Re-enabling of the auto-payout system (this will only work for accounts with 10+ payouts on record. Accounts below that threshold will have payments processed manually on Mondays and Fridays).
  • Fee changes(with the new update, new payout fees will apply):
    • Payouts below $100 – $3
    • Payouts above $100 but below $200 – $7
    • Payouts above $200 but below $1,000 – $14
    • Payouts above $1,000 but below $2,000 – $20
    • Payouts above $2,000 – $50

IMPORTANT: Dead accounts will no longer be able to request payments until activity is restored.


  • Payout request system changes (all payments will now be rounded. For example, if your balance is $29.39 and you request a payout, $29 will be processed, leaving $0.39 on your balance).
  • Encoding system slots (we have updated the logic for assigning encoding slots. Users should already see changes in how files are picked up for encoding).

Bug Fixes:


  • Fixed all bugs related to logo uploads in the player.
  • Fixed the download page (there will no longer be direct Filemoon downloads. A third-party provider will now handle downloads. The download page link will redirect to the provider. Stats for downloads will continue to be counted as usual).
  • Fixed subtitle uploads that sometimes caused files to become unplayable due to failed subtitle uploads.

Most of the above updates are not yet deployed to Filemoon’s production servers. I will notify you in a separate post once the changes go live.

It's good that the fee is lowered for payments under $100.
It's good that you can't restore deleted files, which only cause problems if you press restore.
It's good progress to leave the cents in the account and round them up; previously, they were deducted and paid without cents.

Now, the request fee for coins with zero or almost zero transfer costs, such as USDT-TRC20, Ripple, or TRX.
Others, such as Ethereum or BTC, do have higher transfer costs.

And the $14 rate will soon be $200 and should be around $400 or $500 when it comes in.
 
I received an email saying "File removal following takedown notices"
which says my account may be permanently terminated. I'd like to know if there's a way to make these external takedown notices more difficult.
I already do this by renaming, changing the hash, and editing the end time.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Hello,


The files were moved from the Broken Files Manager to the Trash, where they were automatically deleted after 2 weeks. We do not retain broken file database records for longer than 2 weeks.

Seems like it resolved itself.
I changed any domain I could find, however, those weren't working and now they do.
What makes me say there was a problem is the number of views.
I'm around 200-300 views and yesterday: 46 and today 2 (which is not normal for a weekend).

I'm sorry but i'm not able to address your issue without knowing your username or custom domain, the only user with your WJ username i could find has 0 files.

Well, the URL that was no longer working is working again (96ar.com). However, I notice that now, we only have access to the embed (/e/) with the alternative domains, the /d/ returns a 404 error (404 Not Found nginx/1.20.1) and no longer access to the panel (whereas before this was the case). However, yesterday, all the alternative domains had this error before working again (hence my message).
Here is a url if you want to test (I have not enabled "Disable Video Embed Page":

I’m sorry, but 96ar.com was never intended to be an alternative domain. The domains that load in official embeds are only temporary and are meant to expire, they aren’t treated as alternative domains. Could I ask where the idea came from that they should be used as embeds?

When I talk about "alternative domain", I'm talking about "custom domain". I expressed myself badly.
Why do I use this kind of domain? Simply because in my country, all your domains have been banned. And most people don't change their DNS.

The domain you provided isn’t a custom domain, it’s one of our temporary domains. That’s why I’m a bit unsure why you’re referring to it as a custom domain.

As mentioned earlier, this is a temporary domain, and the issues you’re experiencing stem from that. This domain is designed to work only under very specific circumstances and was never intended to be used as an embed domain.
