Could you elaborate a little further, like what did you before the page froze? Did it happen after clicking the mail verification link?
Reloading the page (press F5) usually fixes the problem.

I'll update your account within the next minutes!

Yes that happen after the verification email link on chrome browser, In firefox working fine.

Edit:

Now not working in any browser, just the settings icon trolling on page only;

Our security measures are strong. For example: your generated session token is IP bound, your password is encrypted inside your browser (before sending it to the internet), your session expires every 2 hours, you can even configure safebyte to automatically sign out after a specific amount of minutes (see System/App/Services/Account -> Settings).

But as always: make sure you're the only person knowing the credentials to your account.
When leaving a public computer, always shutdown safebyte by double-clicking at the lock icon.

lol, I have a site with around 180K unique visitors per day and an 18% use IE7 and IE8.

this is important for a site to work on all browsers modern and old.

As per Internet Explorer version support, I am supporting IE7 or superior since some people still use Windows XP.
