Hello im looking for a Fileshost that does not delete inactive file & has unlimited (large) maybe no more than 4-5Tb storage,

also preferentially an unlimited download for my users, i know the list is getting shorter, so appreciate any input

ive just read the news about hotfile loosing a massive case against the mpaa in America the last few days, since rapidshare changed there system, ive been using them without any major issues

my file are shared between collegues on our site and on average are downloaded about 15-30 times, however some-files are not downloaded at all, and i store personal files on there, so that is why i need somewhere that does not delete inactive files

im looking now because im concerned the same thing might happen to hotfile as it did megaupload so i need to find an alternative or a backup host

ive looked at this thread http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-host-discussion/168783-filehosts-general-overview.html

the majority on the thread have now changed and are no longer unlimited, they will delete your files after x amount of days or if there inactive, even as premium, which i will be.

the likes of filefactory is now 1tb storage, rapidgator is simlar and has bandwith restrictions!, crocko deletes inactive files, share-online.biz aswell, so does netload as far as im aware and more

Id appreciate any suggestions, and hopefully there are still some reliable ones out there!,

referal not really an issue although its always nice!

server suggestions are appreciated as well, (companies you recommend) but at the moment were on a budget so cyberlockers are the ideal)

regards

Rapidgator is $8.33/month(3 month plan for $24.99) for 6TB of storage, doesn't delete the files and has unlimited bandwidth. But it is slow like 50KB/s for free users to download the files and files cannot be bigger than 1GB for them to download.

hi blkhtr007, Thanks for your reply

the rapidgator plan you mention only has 1tb bandwith, so it says when ive checked at my end, also they delete files after inactivity of after 60 days, as i said in previous post alot of these sites have changed recently, there top plan is 4gb bandwith

** Your download traffic per month
*** Files will be deleted after 60 days since last download

still appreciate any updates

thanks

hi bill in filehost options there aren't many left....you already mentioned both of them here http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-host-discussion/168049-21.html#post1889430 (1ficher-hf)

If u want this plan take both hosts- keep both of them......They do not have affiliate program which is the ideal.

Have friends who have backup 4 tb music on hotfile. They lost a case-court but they are still online.......I do not think hotfile is in danger at the moment other filehost might be not hotfile as they apply all legal operations.

all other filehosts have limitations. you won't find maybe megashares.com is a 3rd solution but they have 1-month plan only.......and no remote or the new MEGA (no remote)

you might get some offers from companies here..... but the budget is gonna increased compared to the first solution. Filefactory and filecloud.io changed recently to 1 tb so both hosts are rejected.

my recommendation take 1st option and keep them both.

You have to buy the 2nd plan that is listed its $24.99 for 3 months at once and it renews every 3 months. The bandwidth is just for you downloading files, it comes with unlimited bandwidth for people wanting to download your files.

1fichier- No traffic limits, no storage limits, 20 GB per file
Freakshare- 50GB/day download, 10TB storage, 8GB per file
SpeedyShare - No traffic limits, no storage limits, no size limits (no speed limits for free user)
Hotfile - No traffic limits, no storage limits(4TB according to broadcast), 2 GB per file

All four above is working great for your usage. You can use netload but they delete your files if you don't login to your account at least once every 30 days. I recommend you to use 2 filehost just in case one of them goes down.

1 more -- although xfs host(s)

uptobox.com XFS, still in beta, unlimited storage (only 2 links in remote 10 with premium) speeds quite fast and servers ok

Hotfile has been dead for 2 1/2 yrs now 1 DMCA you get banned and all your files are deleted

Hotfile not dead, I'm still using it
BUT, don't use it if you want to make money, as, since last May, they have stopped making payment

Regarding DMCA, I did not have any trouble with that (I got 2 notices since I'm using it, but I did a counter-claim and my account was back with all the files)

Actually filecloud let you store more than 1TB, just they wont be stored on raid servers with extra redundancy...
