How To Encode Movies *700MB To 300MB* Step By Step

Hey,

I am somehow getting an error when it comes to encoding:

I did all as you said. :s I am trying to encode a .mkv into a .mkv. Is this the problem?

Same File; Just Mirrors.

I suppose so, works really well, free and currently running it on a 8 Core Dedicated Server (Soon, 12+ Cores)

My encoding settings;

This is for Media Coder www.mediacoderhq.com - It's FREE;

These encoding settings converts any file to:
MP4 Container (.mp4 file) with x264 Codec.
Using AAC at 64 Kbps Audio

AVI 700 MB Movie, Converts to 349 MB
AVI 350 MB TV Show (1 Hour Show), Converts to 172 MB
AVI 175 MB TV Show (30 Minute Show), Converts to 89 MB

These settings are used for "Video Streaming" via a flash player.

Bookmarked, will try it when I get some time. I will try to encode some avi's to mp4 and stream them with jwplayer/flash player if that is possible.

U need to update megu after update replace the all the profiles Wich u DL
And u shall good to go

just install step by step like CA post and u shall dont have any problem
I encode 720P .MKV with out problem

Thanks for the confirmation Cory.
But as I see it doesn't use progressive download. Meaning just after video loads I want to seek at minute 10 and start streaming from there, but the movie gets back to the start.

BTW, Is it possible to add subtitles with megui ? I didn't see any option for that.

well i don't think it is possible mate but you can use any other tool to add "Subtitles" :) thanks
