Strange things happened to me!

I remote uploaded one moviedvd links from another file hoster yesterday and today I noticed that the new created wupload links have been downloaded by a person in another country even though I have not shared these links with anybody so far.

What is going on? Ever happened to you before? Has my account been hacked?

For God's shake willy... my links are on filestube site even though I have not shared them with anybody so far. Willy have you done anything technical to your site to protect the uploaders from hacking and being stolen their links and accounts? Are there any security measures taken in your site?

If you can not guarantee our protection, please inform us to take our decisions....

your files got downloaded without even you doing anything :p

i even want that also happen to me :)

If it's really a truth,
I guess that wupload & filestube are owned by the same person. :P

Wait a minute....Being an uploader sharing thinkgs in forums does not mean that I upload files only for sharing...I have personal documents there that is why I got afraid so much...

I also upload personal material that I want to have it as a back up source if sth happens to my PC...source as well... But I was wrong...
as all hosters claim that links are protected and only the owner knows the link for download so its a secure system.

But now I see its not!

Yes my links as mentioned were not private....but this is not an excuse for public sharing without my will.

Hi I have a question. In Wupload, can we make a backup/copy of our files? Also can I use Megaupload or Rapidshare or Filesonic link remote upload to Wupload?

Unless you make the files "private", they are searchable in Google and FilesTube, which is most likely where the downloads are coming from!

Hi Willy again!

It would be nice. I talked to the admins at Plan*tsuzy and they said they will never allow wupload until this rule doesn't change. And I think they aren't the only one.

You have to think about that the management of many forums are attentive to the users' interesets, too. If the users will find at the forum only deleted files/links after 30 days, it wouldn't be good for the users and so for the admins either.

So they wont allow links to wupload. And it wouldn't be good for you either.
